I am really puzzled about what to do with a piece of feedback I just received. I've read that "neutral" absolutely hurts the seller account, and I'm wondering if my hands are completely tied.
I sell trading cards, and I received a neutral feedback with the comment, "Great seller, fast shipping, beautiful card!" So every part of the transaction is covered and complimented, but it's neutral? I almost wonder if that was selected accidentally.
Is there anything that can be done to have this not plague my account? I'm not a volume seller so even this one little mixup really hurts.

Buyers can't leave negs or neutrals with only positive comments. You'll be able to have it removed.
But I will tell you that a neutral does not hurt your account. Feedback is not metrics, it's just something for future customers to read. No one will be turned off by that feedback.

Nothing to be done...........but I doubt neutrals are going to hurt you, especially if anyone see that one.....
You still show 100% feedback.........

Curious if that buyer does that for everyone. Did you look at his/her "feedback left for others"?

" I've read that "neutral" absolutely hurts the seller account"
Feedback has not affected seller's accounts for quite some time, you have nothing whatsoever to worry about, especially one worded so positively.

I wasn't aware such a rule existed.

Don’t know where you read that neutrals absolutely hurt the sellers account but that is absolutely incorrect. It’s been stated on the boards that they don’t count neutrals or negatives for evaluations. Your seller metrics do count. Anyone seeing that feedback can see that the buyer hit neutral by mistake. You haven’t been harmed in any way. See, one less thing to stress about in this nutso world 😃

The CSRs told me, I didn't see it published around here... however I have had neutrals removed with positive remarks. The CSRs say if it's a positively worded comment on a neutral, the neutral may have been done in error. I figure this is easier than trying to request a FB revision when the comment is already positive.
But even having one neutral very positively worded would bother me... so I understand why the OP wants it removed.

That's a very good point. What's interesting is that it looks like the comments are just saved and what gets left for every seller. Just unlike all the other positives, mine is sitting on top as neutral 😞

Super good to know, thank you! Admittedly I was reading articles from a few years back. Always trying to use the "search" function before posting 😅

Super super good to know, thank you! I must've just read outdated or misinformed information here about neutrals. As long as I'm showing up and searches and showing 100%, I'm pretty happy with it 🙂
