Hi all,
I got a neutral feedback today that says "no returns & it didn't fit"
It's in my description that I do not accept returns but I usually do anyway when someone asks. If she would have just reached out I would have accepted a return or even sent another item free. I will usually go out of my way to fix any problem.
Should I even bother to try to have it removed & can a buyer leave a neutral or even a negative because you don't accept returns??
It's not a big deal & i'm not going to lose sleep over a neutral. It just seems like it would be unfair for a buyer to leave a neutral feedback because a seller doesn't accept returns when they are aware of that.

I'm sure you can get the neutral removed, but I think you're missing the boat by not accepting returns.
Good luck...

If you normally accept returns if asked and they are not a big deal, then why do you not offer them in your listings?

The feedback comment (if not the feedback itself - hard to tell these days) should be removable because it's a complaint about a term/condition that is specifically laid out in the listing.
Essentially, it's no different than if you sell a RED SHIRT and list it as such, have a pic of a red shirt, and the Item Specifics say the color is RED and the description says red but the buyer negs you saying I WANTED A GREEN SHIRT!!!!
Removable.

When Paypal announced its decision not to refund the 2.9% fee they charge for accepting the payment I moved to NO RETURNS.
Then they held off on that and I'm accepting returns again.
If the implement that planned change, I expect to go back to no returns again.
We'll see.

Put yourself in the buyers shoes. Wouldn't you want a seller to accept returns if an item is SNAD?

A seller has to accept returns if the item is SNAD.
A seller's return policy is for buyers remorse types of returns where the buyer just doesn't like the item, it doesn't fit, or circumstances have change regarding his needs, or he got grief about it from mom and dad etc.

hey now! the buyer may be color blind 😄 (but if so he/she would have thought they received a 'green' shirt)

Well this is not a situation where the item was SNAD.
Obviously most sellers know that when an item is SNAD we do not have a choice for accepting a return or not accepting a return.
I understand this, but all your buyer has to do is select a SNAD reason and it becomes a SNAD no matter what they buyer may express as the issue in the return request. It happens to sellers all the time. And there isn't anything we can do about it but take the return and refund. Or refund and allow the buyer to keep the item.
You are counting on the buyer filing a return correctly and that is just not always the case. All sellers have to accept SNADs, even those with No return policies. Whether the SNAD is correctly or incorrectly filed doesn't mean anything. You will take the return and refund or refund and let them keep the item. Those will be your only choices.

No !! Why add a Free Return Policy Next to Your Items ??? It's asking for Trouble !! With No Returns Listed you Got a Neutral Feedback ( So What ) !! You Also Didn't have to Pay for Return Shipping !! End of Case !!

Nope - not when the seller has measurements in the listing detailing the size and fit. Buyers have to learn to read and not hastily push that buy button.
