Negative feedback

I've had 100 Percent feedback for years, however, 1 buyer posted a negative feedback regarding a costume necklace they purchased.  I'm not a volume seller, so that one negative dropped my rating to the low 90's.  Their feedback said the costume necklace was silver and not taken care of, ie., tarnished  and I didn't use a black cloth to take care of the metal.  I listed in the description that it was a gold tone.  Apparently, they didn't read the description.

When I contacted Ebay they would not remove the feedback indicating that a buyer should have the ability to post their opinion/s.  I AGREE, AS I ALSO PURCHASE ON EBAY AND APPRECIATE THE ABILITY TO POST MY OPINION.  However, when feedback contains the opposite of what was in the description of the sold item, there should be a way that feedback containing inaccurate informationnot decrease your rating.  Sure, post your opinion about a purchase but the feedback shouldn't contain information that was clearly available to a buyer in the listing.

In such an instance, it would be nice if there was a way to comment on purchased items but not drop a seller's rating when it was easy to identify an inaccurate description of the seller's item.  Just a thought!

Negative feedback

Just to add, my rating has slowly climbed to 97 Percent from 94.  But, again, because of not being a high volume seller it takes a long time to move closer to the 100 percent.
