I have had a couple of positive feedbacks where the person has mistakenly left a comment from a previously negative feedback to somebody else. I presume this was in the eBay mobile app. I have cleared up the mistakes via messages, but because the feedback is positive, we are unable to revise it. Is there any way to sort this out or at least allow sellers to leave a reply to feedback to explain the negative comment on positive feedback?
Cheers 🙂
p.s.
apologies if this is a common question. I did a search, but nothing came back.

Both the seller and the buyer can reply to a feedback. In this situation it would be more effective if the buyer adds a comment, explaining that he made a mistake and his transaction with you actually was great.

It's a policy violation to leave a negative comment with a positive rating, but I don't know whether that's enforced only for sellers leaving negative content.

I believe as a seller your hands are tied since it’s positive feedback you received. The buyer would need (and have to be willing) to contact eBay and explain their mistake. Unfortunately even doing that is no guarantee either; eBay is sometimes very inconsistent on how they deal with issues. Good luck!
