1 more piece of straw towards making me tired of selling on here!! Chump leaves me negative feedback after I give a refund!!!! I explained item's condition in messages. Good luck finding it in better shape for that price without paying 2x as much! He had it in his possession for about 5 mins before complaining & wanting a refund. If I come across one more buyer like him, I'm done here! Good luck to us all. 🙂

1) Getting a refund instead of what you ordered does not make a transaction 'positive'.
2) What matters in a SNAD case is whether the buyer got what he was expecting. Whether the seller thinks the buyer got a "good deal" or not has absolutely no bearing.

A refund makes a transaction void & you DO NOT leave a negative -- it is an unwritten rule.

Did the buyer return the item?

Ugh. I hate to say this, but your description did you in.
You say your items are NRMT-MT unless otherwise stated. You claim that twice.
I did see where you said cover has flaws, but it's one big block of text and doesn't jump out.
I can see the flaws (and a small tear?) in the pictures, but it also looks like you use flash and the glare washes it out.
For that amount of money, I think a more detailed description and better pictures would be helpful.
You have good feedback otherwise and lots of happy buyers, but your response to the negs is defensive and directed to the buyer(s). Take the emotion of it and remember that the follow-up is more about your future buyers.

Please pardon me for contradicting you—it is not an unwritten rule. A refund doesn’t void a buyer’s experience and feelings. Now if it was a cancelation at customer request, that would be different. In that, they should forfeit their right to complain. That would be fair. But otherwise, no.
This can be a tough place to sell, so i understand your frustration. What i don’t understand is your showing such resentment towards unhappy buyers. Your follow up comments to the negative feedback don’t put you in a good light. It is not personal, it is business. There will always be an unhappy one in the bunch to contend with and your remarks only display a negative attitude. How is that going to reassure future buyers?
The follow up spot in Feedback is the most valuable real estate on eBay. It can utterly disarm the negative when countered with an unemotional professional response.

I'm sorry but you earned that negative fair and square. Buyers want their items in the condition stated.

It was otherwise stated,
the op described condition as "very good" and not NRMT-MT.

As mentioned in my comment, I discussed the condition with the buyer in messages.

I discussed the condition of the item with the buyer before he purchased it.
05-03-2019 11:01 AM
Yes, I noticed in your post that you exchanged messages about the condition.

Nonsense.
So if I win an auction for 99 cents and the seller refunds and says "I expected this to go a lot higher, I'm not sending it to you", that seller does not deserve a negative?
And if I win a 64gb iPod and the seller refuses to send it and tells me he is going to send an 8gb iPod instead because "at that price it is still a good deal" that seller does not deserve a negative?
Both those sellers deserve to get the snot negged out them and there is no "unwritten rule" that says otherwise.

Yes, but at no point in your post did you say that your discussion of the condition represented the item completely and accurately.
