Received negative unfair feedback. Buyer states a sweatshirt was a youth size it was not. The picture in auction clearly showed the size a Large 42-44 also had a picture with ruler showing arm pit to arm pit size. They did not message me or request a return. So I requested feedback removed and eBay denied my request. What else can be done if anything. If you think I am in the wrong here, please let me know what I can change going forward. Thank you

Message the buyer.
"I regret you are unhappy with your purchase. Please return it for refund."
Get the shirt back and resell it.
And/or.
You could add a response to the FB. I'd suggest the exact same message as above. You can now also add pictures of the shirt.
You can have a No Returns policy on eBay. You cannot have a No Refunds policy.
A No Returns policy discourages unhappy buyers from contacting the seller with legitimate problems.

Just to add to what @reallynicestamps stated;
Buyers are NEVER required to contact you before leaving feedback.
Buyers are NEVER required to 'have proof' of their feedback.
Buyers are NEVER required to give statements that are true (they can be 100% false as long as they do not contain things that ebay can use to remove).
and to reiterate, if you have 'no returns' that is not buyer friendly and can cause you more issues than it's worth.

I had this happen once, only it was a neut. I don't see that you did anything wrong (just as I didn't) - your shirt is obviously an adult men's large and you show a ruler - kids sizing does not have "42-44" as a size large, either. I didn't contact the buyer or anything, just stated in a response to feedback that the listing did show measurements.
Also, are you sure this shirt didn't shrink in length (it's important to show that, too). Vintage stuff can be short with short sleeves.

EBAY allows customer to leave any feedback they want (does not have to be factual). Your customer probably gained weight and not wanting to deal with that...has blamed the sweatshirt for being too small.
What I would do is politely mention that you provided photos with measurements and clearly item is Size XL. This will just make that customer look like a silly liar.

I had a tough time not telling my customer to leave the doughnuts alone.

Thank you, I do have returns on everyone of my items. I also know they are not required thats obvious. Just stating they didn't to give some information.

That is a really good point in favor for offering returns. I never thought of it in that way. 👍
I do not offer returns and don't get them. Because of that, i generally do communicate with the buyers quite often to nip any issues that they may have. I think if you do choose NOT TO OFFER RETURNS, it is wise to stay in contact with your buyers during and after the sale so you're not surprised with any upset customers.

It doesn't matter who is right and who is wrong.
That's irrelevant.
Ebay will not investigate who is right and who is wrong.
As long as the feedback does not violate ebay policy (and it doesn't) ebay will not remove it.
All you can do now is post a good reply.
Remember, your reply will be seen by future potential customers.
Maybe something like...
"I wish you would have contacted me first. If you are unhappy with the item for any reason, please return for a full refund."

Send them a message telling them they are more than welcome to return the "Charlotte Hornets" sweatshirt if they want to.
For full refund AND, you'll even pay the return shipping cost and provide a shipping label.
I'd do that just to see what the response would be. That feedback might have been meant for another seller.
If it was, you could then ask them to revise it.
