Negative Feedback

Hi , I am having some issues with feedback. I have asked Ebay to remove them, but I never get a response. One was from someone stating there is a crack in the item she received, and it was not disclosed. It was Clearly disclosed in the title and description about a repair,. The 2nd was something sold As Is. Well he said it was missing pieces, and not happy. It was listed AS IS. Just now someone wants to return something for a refund. I said ok, so problem, but all of his messages made me uneasy( while typing this, he has sent 12 within an hour. Even after I said I would return it, he leaves a long paragraph under negative feedback bashing me. How do I get someone at Ebay to help me?? These are really unfair. Thanks

Negative Feedback

Unfortunately I do not believe anything your buyers did violates feedback policies. If there were blatant feedback policy violations, they would be eligible for removal. However, "unfair" doesnt qualify. It sucks, but welcome to selling on EBay, sometimes buyers just suck.

However, the best thing you can do is to leave a clear, concise, professional response to the feedback. When you leave a response or reply to the feedback, do not think of it as responding to THAT buyer, respond to ALL buyers. Of course, address it to the individual who left the negative (don't ignore them) but speak as if you're speaking to all your prospective buyers. Those are the ones you care about in this case.

I mean, the buyer who left a neg, do you care what they think at this point? Most times I don't because they've shown they're nuts. So I "respond" to them but truly address everyone who may be reading it (prospective buyers) to address their concerns as they read my neutrals and negs.

Best advice i can offer.

Your "Stop harassing me, you have the wrong person" comment was ok but could've been a bit better. If you truly believe they were confusing sellers I would've written an expanded and professional remark about how you regret this buyers poor experience but you believe they mistakenly left the feedback for you and not another seller or may have confused sellers/orders, as there was nothing of the sort in your transaction ... or something.

Just put yourself in the shoes of your PROSPECTIVE BUYER

Negative Feedback

Thank you for your advice. I understand what you are saying, but doesn't non-positive feedback seem wrong when it they have bought something as is? Or they say that I did not disclose the crack, when if fact, I did? And if these aren't reasons to have feedback removed, then what are? The most recent guy is offended because I said I braced myself when I saw that he sent 8 (now 14) personal messages, when he only needs to send the return requested one.  I was happy to finance the return, and everything he claimed is false. His negative feedback affects my score, which could have me removed.
