Hi all,
You people were very helpful in the past so before I go to eBay with this I thought I`ll ask here first. So the issue is the buyer (very hard person do deal with), first package was hold by the customs in his country for inspection which is my fault (at least thats what he says). Then he said he will open a case on paypal/ebay if package isn't delivered by August 6th, package was delivered yesterday (aug 1th). On 27th july he opened a case on paypal saying that package is on the way back to me (not true) and he wants money back right away...
So, its 1st of August and package was delivered. He left me negative feedback saying that exhaust (motorcycle) was shortened which I doubt but cant say for sure (I bought it in bulk, used). The problem here is that measurments are in the listing and also in the picture there is a measuring tape so people can clearly see the dimensions. He never asked me is it shortened or not.
Sorry for a long msg but wanted to point every detail.
Is there any chanse ebay will remove this feedback? Below is the link of the listing in questions and also you can read my last feedback (only negative I have)

This doesn't answer your question, but you can reply to the feedback and that gives you a short line to say your side. When I am shopping I always look at feedback before buying, mainly the negative. If it is 1 or 2 out of a lot of sales I want to know if the buyer was an unreasonable nut or the seller didn't do a good job describing the item or dealing with the problem. So if you decide to respond to the negative feedback be polite because I never buy from someone that calls the buyer a crazy, horrible blah blah blah.

I've seen ebay remove negs that I thought they wouldn't ever remove, but they did remove them even though they didn't violate the feedback policy..
So, after seeing that happen, I'll say ask ebay, it's worth giving it a go.

If the exhaust was shortened and you did not mention it, IMHO the feedback is reasonable and there is no grounds to remove the feedback.
One should not have to ask whether an exhaust had been modified or not. Omission of important information does not protect a seller from feedback.
The fact that it was held in customs; he threatened a case over delivery time; or opened a case on PayPal would not have any efect on the removeability of that feedback.

The saga continues 🙂
I send request to the buyer to remove the negative feedback, he declined.
But told me in the msg he will remove it if I pay him 100euros. Does it now qualifies for removal? I did read the feedback guidelines it should be right?
This negative feedback give me another issue, all my paypal funds are on hold...

It might fit the feedback extortion or manipulation policy, I'm not sure.
But inform ebay anyway and see what they have to say..

Now it does.
Guy gave you a neg not because it was "shortened" but because he had to pay import taxes. That's why he "didn't get it" right away. He was seeing how much you were going to bend and you didn't.
Now is his last chance to get those non-refundable taxes back by fleecing you for the feedback removal.
Common game.

How is the buyers feedback, has he done this before? If you have a perfect score yourself you can call Ebay support and ask them to help you with this. I had one customer that came guns ablazin and left negative feedback score for me without contacting me first to resolve the issue, Ebay did remove it!

Feedback no longer counts in a seller’s metrics, so it cannot hurt your standing the way it once could. No need to sweat it. Most buyers know that one bad feedback doesnt automatically mean bad seller. You sell long enough and it is inevitable.
So craft a well-worded professional reply that shows prospective buyers you are on top of things and are an exceptional seller. Then move forward and put it behind you.

Problem is all my funds on Paypal are on hold for 21days now... Thats the biggest issue.
I did sent one more report, after the msg buyer demanded money from me.
How long will take eBay to respond to this? I can imagine they recevive a lot of these reports.

A report?
Who knows if they even do aything at all? They say they do but there is no quantifiable evidence.
This is something you have to call in. Don't let it time out or you'll be giving a refund AND letting them keep it.
