I sold a pair of Prana pants and accidentally mailed off the wrong pair. Buyer messaged me today about it, and he was right, my error. So I immediately purchased another shipping label and mailed out the correct pants. Now I need to send him a return label so he can return the other pants. Not sure how to do this, as there was never a return request opened. Ideas?

@chpgts wrote:Hello,
If you purchase the original label thru Pirateship the return label is only $.25?
No, that's not correct @chpgts. Many postage providers offer the option of return labels. How it works:
When the original label is purchased through the venue, you can generate a return label. The return label comes with an additional fee (25 cents on pirateship). Why pay an additional fee?
- Because some buyers choose to not return anything. You're charged for the label and the extra 25 cent fee if and only if the label is used. With a regular label you pay upfront then have a certain amount of time to void the label if it's not used and wait weeks for a refund.
-You also get the convenience of the software automatically switching the ship from/to fields and not having to re-enter package weight, dimensions and service.

OP here again to let you all know the return of the Prana pants worked out great! I messaged the buyer with a return shipping label attached. The buyer mailed back the original pants as soon as she received the replacement pants, and all is perfect. I gave her glowing feedback. Most buyers and sellers are decent people.
