I must say...this pops up quite often now when I am posting items for sale.
I didn't request any help.
I wonder if it's for certain sellers?
I also wonder if anyone really gets any good advice.
Just wondering...LOL

Tbh, ebay agents (probably AI) are the last people I'd ask for help with listing an item for sale.

It's a common feature found on thousands of websites.
If you had requested help they would not be asking if you need some.
It's also a tip off that the ? in the bottom right corner actually means something
I'm sure there are actions by users that trigger the pop up....perhaps AI has detected confusion on your part which would trigger it.

Maybe you should request a call to find out why?

Ebay doesn't have AI make calls to sellers.

On each Ebay page there is a link to contact Customer Service at the top of the page and again at the bottom of the page.
I would suggest that you contact Ebay for Business on Facebook, Instagram or Twitter for the better trained CSRs.
Here are your options for contacting Ebay Customer Service. Please be aware that for social media CS, you send them a Private Message and briefly explain what your problem or issue is. Feel free to leave your Name, address, phone number and/or your email address in this message. It is private and secure and it may help to speed up the response for you.

https://www.facebook.com/ebay
https://www.instagram.com/ebayforsellers/
Your options will be on the left. If you use the link below you can only get to the Automated Assistant or Chat box type AGENT in the box and hit enter. You will then get more options. Not all options are available 24/7. It will depend on staffing available. So sometimes you can request a call back and sometimes you can't. Sometimes you have the Chat option available and other times it won't me. If it is important to you to use one of those options, just try back later.
If you use a cell phone or other mobile device, you may need to turn off your Spam filter so that Ebay can call you.
If you are a seller outside of the US or Canada, you will need to use the Chat Option.

This has started popping up quite often for me as well. I just assume it is a new "feature" eBay added.

Lol … since this started popping up when I’m working on listings about a month ago, I’ve wondered the same thing! Honestly hope I never need to use this “help” button! 😂😂

It is likely being rolled out as more and more are starting to see this pop up.

1234james. I only buy and I see this quite often. I can't recall if it's when I'm paying, looking at my purchases or what.
Maybe Ebay has actually head all the complaints regarding contact with an agent and decided to make it easier?
No doubt it will only cause more problems in the end.

Patience is needed. Once you spend the time and energy to reach a live team member--they are very good. Does not mean you will get the result you want--but the help is there. Like all Ebay...going through page after page of legally written junk that answers common newbie questions-the wait is worth it to speak to a team member. This month I am not cursing Ebay. I hope this continues for awhile! Never give up! Sheila at Kate & Kozy Vintage.
p.s. by the way, I have found Ebay questions answered quickly by using a fee A. I. to ask the question.

I disagree--unless you are trying to change something-like a bad feedback. I find I need much less help if I know everything through and through about my tiny biz. My first five years on Ebay--lets just say it was costly tuition to learn. Stay well and safe and grow your biz!

I also wonder if anyone really gets any good advice.

Likely it would depend on your problem, and where in the world you are connected to CS. Certain areas of eBay CS are noted for giving wrong advice, which may make your issue worse if you actually follow it.

I have not asked for advice from eBay customer service in years...
This pop up comes when I am in the process of listing items for sale.
I guess I am not listings my items for sale 'fast enough'...LOL

We see this pop-up often. Typically when we are listing or revising an item. (J.B.)
