Has anyone noticed that the New Sold page is NOT updating? Note the comparison below, three auctions ended and invoices sent yet the New Sold page will NOT update and get rid of the Send Invoice button ... why is it not possible to get it right when a new page design is rolled out? I fear what will happen with Managed Payments, that's for sure ...

I use Seller Hub, but I went to My All Selling page, and it displays just fine, as I sold 1 item today (hooray!) and it displays on that page.

I do not think there is anything to fix? The change looks like it was intended. Instead of guessing that this is broken and needs fixed, perhaps asking about the change and is this change the intended outcome?
Question - Do you get different views when review your myebay all selling page for
It might be that eBay is showing you different pages for each of the options above?
I also use the seller hub.
Good Luck Selling!

This is pretty simple, if you use the New Sold page and click Send Invoice the button does not switch to Awaiting Payment or View Order Details or anything else until the payment comes through, it remains as "Send Invoice".
But if after Sending the invoice on the New Sold page you scroll down to the Classic Sold file the button has switched to the blue Print label button (like it has always done). Whether you use the Send Invoice button on the New or Classic format the New Sold page does NOT update like the Classic page. Last week, before I realized what was happening I clicked the Send Invoice twice on one item on the New Sold page. The pic on my original post has 2 items where the invoice had been sent about 1 1/2 hours earlier ... so I don't know how long the lag time is for the page to update but one of the items has not been paid for this morning yet ( around 12 hours later) and the New Sold page is still showing "Send invoice" even though the invoice was sent last night ... pic below.

I use Seller Hub too for some things but prefer the Classic My eBay page formats for checking things, processing Sold items, etc. I PREFER the Seller Hubs relisting pages for that part of the process as well as checking how many listings I have left of my monthly allotment. Regarding the page this thread is about, its one thing to force it on Sellers, its another thing to force something on Sellers that doesn't work right ... they obviously will not fix the poor layout or anything but they could certainly make it function properly ...

My sold items on My Ebay almost always show send invoice since it isn't a good idea to send them unless I need to combine shipping.

Its not them showing "Send invoice" its the fact that once you do send the invoice the page does not update reflecting the fact that the invoice was sent . If you look at my pic on the post just before yours you will see the New Sold Page is STILL showing "Send invoice" when in fact THAT invoice was sent last night ... if I scroll down to the Classic My eBay Sold file it reflects that I sent the invoice already, like that page has always worked.

Oh I'm not disputing your dislike of the way ebay does things. Who knows why they do what they do, especially when it is illogical or makes things more difficult. I was just wanting to let you know it isn't good to send out invoices (unless you have to for combined shipping). I wasn't sure if you realized that or not. I got burned once on shipping, which quickly ended my habit of sending out invoices.

How did you get burned on shipping when you sent an invoice? In 3K transactions on numerous accounts have never had issues with Sending invoices and getting paid the correct amount for both item and shipping ... where we get burned is with eBay's less then functional CART on multiple Fixed Priced items purchased from one Buyer ... more often then not each item comes through as a separate order WITH prepaid shipping on each one despite proper Combined Shipping settings ... we wind up Refunding for shipping one each sale then combine them in one package at our ends distributing Tracking numbers to all Sold files ...

Sending an invoice locks in the amount of postage being charged to the buyer at the available address. If the buyer then changes the ship to address when they pay, the postage will not update. For instance, if the buyer lived nearby and was charged accordingly, but wanted the item shipped across the country, then I'm on the hook for the difference since it won't adjust once an invoice has been sent.
If you don't use calculated or offer "free" shipping then it won't matter.

Ahhh, now I understand ... I would never ship to an address other then the one on file with PayPal ... if Buyers ask to ship elsewhere (only happened a few times) I message back letting them know I only ship to the address on file and they can request a cancellation, update their account and then I will list it for them to re-purchase. Shipping to another address other then the one on file is eliminating one of the few Sellers protections that exist, that's why I would not do it. But if you do, that is certainly your choice and if it has worked out for what you sell that's great.

I'm not talking about doing that. I'm talking about the ship to address with the paypal payment. The buyer can enter whatever they wish when they pay, which is allowed and doesn't negate a seller's protection. If an invoice was sent before they pay, it will not calculate the correct postage for this new address.
My example is if I buy something and you send me an invoice as soon as I buy, it will calculate the postage on my address. There is nothing wrong with me changing the ship to address when I pay and ship something to my dad---but it won't adjust the postage my dad's address if I must pay through your invoice that locked in the postage amount to my home address.
I'm not saying this happens often, but it does happen, so I do not send invoices unless absolutely necessary.

@fern*wood Yes, that would be a rare occurrence ...

I don't know, you might be surprised how many do this--especially around Christmas time. Many of us have several ship to addresses that we use on a regular basis.
