NEW Feedback screen....AAAAAAUUUUGGGGHHHHH!!!!...

If you're gonna change something, HOW HARD is it to incorporate something into the new version that worked 100% in the previous version?

We now have to leave feedback one at a time???!!!...where's the UPLOAD ALL button?

Is Common Sense a prohibited item?

Re: NEW Feedback screen....AAAAAAUUUUGGGGHHHHH!!!!...

From now on, I'm stopping leaving feedabck as a buyer. The new page is horrible, is asking too much info from me that I don't want to give (how was your experience??? did it arrive on time? WТF???? I'm not giving grades to grown-up, adult professsional sellers, I believe it's humiliating and degrading to be judged by a stranger in this situation). With an old form I always left these stupid fields blank and only wrote feedback, the new form doesn't allow it , so no more feedback for great sellers. Everybody should complain to eBay more to get the old form back - the new one is simply horrible and totally destroys "good buyer experience" with its complexity and stupidity.

Feedback for a bag of Cheetos is the same as for a $10K Rolex...there has to be a ton of hidden marketing data in there...somewhere.

Re: NEW Feedback screen....AAAAAAUUUUGGGGHHHHH!!!!...

I would just be happy if all my id's had the same look and feel for all the screens. Each one is at a different "roll out". Come on eBay, just make a decision.

Not only am I ok with my buyers doing the same. I welcome never receiving another feedback again. 5000 is more than enough.

I still check sellers feedback. It's a good tool.

And I'm not getting the 5000 feedback reference, you seem to have 0 under this name

That is probably a posting id being used.

New viewing format and limiting to 25 items per page totally sucks -you would think a survey would create some constructive input if it ain't broke don't fix it

I got what seemed to be an infinite scroll, don't know how many items per page, it kept scrolling and adding more.  And they weren't in any kind of order - not by sale date, not by payment date, seemingly random.  And each time I refreshed or switched from All Transactions to just Sales, I saw different items showing up.  So I don't know if I ever did see ALL the transactions that had not gotten feedback yet.

what a mess.

Allow me to quote CEO Devin Wenig...
"We've been moving as fast as possible, while making sure we don't create disruption.''

For the sake of the uninformed, Devin...please define "sure" and "disruption".

I agree (shocking, I know). I don't care about aesthetic changes in appearance, as long as the functionality doesn't change. It doesn't make sense to change how things work or take away functions that were actually beneficial.

Re: NEW Feedback screen....AAAAAAUUUUGGGGHHHHH!!!!...

Google 'Merlin Instant Feedback' and never worry about FB again. It has lots of options. You can set it to leave FB for buyers as soon as they leave a pos for you or as soon as the sale is made.

I do it after they leave it for me, never first. You can also use it as a buyer to leave FB for sellers in bulk. I never used that feature because I wanted to be a bit more specific with each FB but still left them in bulk on ebay's site. Now I guess I will use it for everything. As a seller, I haven't left a manual feedback since 2006.

I also use Auction Magic and JustDeals

JustDeals searches for products on ebay based on your keywords. Lots of options there too. I have it set for every 5 min to search. Picked up a LOT of deals that way. Seller posts something dirt cheap and I'm on it within 5 seconds to 5 minutes.

Auction Magic is a snipe program. I set mine to 6 seconds and it has never failed yet.

Don't know what their licensing scheme is now. When I bought these, it was a lifetime for $9.99 for each program. He is real good about updates. He just did an update yesterday for ebay's new FB page.

"How Was Your Experience"?

Hmmmm.......I guess it was ok.  I'll click "Neutral".

Re: NEW Feedback screen....AAAAAAUUUUGGGGHHHHH!!!!...

"When I'm wearing my buyer hat I will no longer leave feedback. This is one of the worst, most counter-productive, embarrassingly ridiculous changes ebay has ever made. Removing the ability to leave bulk feedback is a type of corporate stupidity I can't wrap my head around."

I wish I could do that but FB left by me for a seller is how I keep track of what I have received...I can see at a glance what has arrived and what has not. I buy a LOT here and this has really helped. But if they change the Purchase page permanently to the one that requires 2 clicks, I may try a spreadsheet, or go elsewhere.

Re: NEW Feedback screen....AAAAAAUUUUGGGGHHHHH!!!!...

Well, I went back and tried again, and it really wasn't so bad this time. Also, when you leave one FB it does give you the option to get to the list of others, which you can do in bulk, kinda. But the font is huge and so each item is also huge which I dislike. And I will hate it if the 'new' purchase history page is made permanent.

I would add to that, all in the name of re-design.

Yes, KISS.  Don't add clicks and pages to a simple process.  Any change that makes things take longer, with more clicks, and pages, is inadvisable.
