Now that ebay is collecting our proceeds and not giving it to us immediately upon sales we will have to delay shipping until we get the monies for our items into OUR bank. This was a poor move on ebay's part to NOT give us the option, and see what their hard working sellers want.!!
Seems they had time on their hands to make up this change and not to speed up their billing.
Spend monies on newer servers with solid state drives not spinning drives, CALL DELL OR IBM SOON....
When I Started ON EBAY MANY YEARS AGO it took no time at all for billing, now you have to wait multiple days to find out what you owe to pay them from your PAYPAL account before they dig into your checking account or credit card.
Did they just have to come up with something for the sake of change or that they were trapped on zoom calls etc...???
NO OPTIONS FOR US THE SELLERS KEEPING THEM AFLOAT.
May be time to stop selling or move on to another format, since after all they are making us start all over again with their new rules/ demands unwarranted to boot !!
Too Bad,....

@weissach928 wrote:The real question to ask is why EBay is holding our Seller Payments in a world of instant access? This is a MAJOR step backwards in payment processing.
Unless you chose weekly payouts, the funds are sent to your checking account the next business day after they receive the funds.

It might take a milli-second to approve a payment, but that doesn't mean the funds are removed right then.
Depending on the processor, it could be a few days before the funds are actually removed from your account.

Agree, Sellers have no rights! I am no longer to put up with Ebay's mistreatment of Sellers! DONE

If you don't ship until payment is actually in your account, you will run the risk of unhappy buyers and potentially neutral or negative feedback. And if you extend your S/H time way out in order to make sure your money is actually in your bank account, many buyers will see they won't get their item from you in a timely manner, and will often buy from someone else who has a much shorter delivery time.
Please understand: When Ebay says to ship, you need to ship! Your money is ALREADY SECURED. It only takes 2-3 days for Ebay/Adyen to process it into your bank account, if you selected daily deposits. If you need to purchase shipping labels on Ebay, you can use the pending money that is already sitting in your MP account, as your money is ALREADY SECURED.
Most of my items are shipped out on the next business day. Since joining MP around 700 transactions ago, I have not lost one penny with MP, and my buyers are really happy that I have next business day shipping.
Cheers, Duffy

Hi - Where & what is this better service you are speaking of? It may be there, but I have yet to see it.

Nice shot!

Really bad advice. People sell because they need money.

How often has adyen "looted" someone's bank account? Please give me just ONE example. Why so paranoid?

I stopped selling on eBay. Thank you, eBay, for giving me a place to sell, but I do not like the fact that eBay and not me manage the money I made by selling. They transfer my money when they want and in the amount they want. Such a mess with this new rule.

"Adyen is a European Public Company (and I can assure you the restrictions on public companies is a lot tighter in Europe than in the US)"
Honestly just curious, if they are a "public company", that implies that they are government run, instead of being a private company. Can you explain further?

" The only few are left with PP payments (Bonanza, ecrater, Grailed."

Agreed. In addition, I find there is no support for sellers at all !!!. Twice I had items break and the buyers did not bring the items to the post office and so I could not get help from the post office on priority mail. I feel like we are forced into accepting returns through no fault of our own. I was just told ,in addition to having to pay the buyer back that I have to pay a $20 dispute fee!!! With all the money ebay makes on good sellers they should have our backs. Looking into listing elsewhere.
