My account vanished, eBay is no help.

Been dealing with this issue for over a month now. I have been selling on eBay for over 15 years, I recently moved to the nightmare of Managed Payments. I started to notice strange things, getting charged for shipping twice, funds not adding up right in my payouts, etc. I contacted eBay many times about this to no avail. Suddenly I was told my payouts are on hold and I have to verify my bank account again. PITA but I did it. Still a hold on my payouts a for a week. I contacted eBay every day with no one able to resolve. Suddenly I was not able to log in to my account. My credentials are saved in my browser so it's not like I was typing things in wrong. On the phone with eBay again and I'm being told my account can not be found and there is no account associated with my email address... WTH! I have has the same email with eBay since I first signed up. No one is can tell me what is happening, its like I'm a ghost. I have records of payouts, payments, emails, etc. from ebay that I have sent them, proving I'm not crazy and I did have an account. Nothing. On top of all that I had $1100 sitting in my payouts. This is insane. Has anyone dealt with this or have any advice?

I would contact eBay for Business on Facebook. They will need your User ID and your zipcode. Try to keep your message short and to the point.

It sounds like your account was hacked. Did you immediately change your password? Were you on

two-step verification? 

For $1100 I would not wait a day longer if it's already been over four weeks.

I have spoken to eBay reps from payment specialists, security specialists, etc. Have been on the phone with them constantly since all of this happened. I do not have a Facebook account and I shouldn't have to go to a whole other website to get help for the one I'm on. eBay is saying they have no record of my account even existing. Even if my account was hacked, wouldn't eBay have some record of my existence? eBays customer service is pure junk... I am waiting now for a call back scheduled for Monday. 

After 15+ years of selling here and dealing with eBay slowly going down the crapper, even if this gets sorted I'm done with this company. Etsy has been far more profitable for me the past 4 years anyway, I just liked using eBay to sell my personal items here and there these days.

     Something is really wrong with this picture. I am going to assume you created this account to post to this board. As others have asked can you give us an item you have sold recently, preferably the item number or your ghost ID so we can see if we can find anything.

What i'm saying is your story doesn't make sense.

Accounts  don't just vanish.  There are  records, payments, credits, ,history, other proof that your account  did exist.

If my account suddenly "vanished" i would not be off the phone with ebay until i had some answers.

Even if your account was hacked and your username and password were changed, there would be a record of that.

When they tell you your account doesn't exist and there is no records of it, what do you say?  What is your reply?

Ids can not just vanish: dont work that way: items you sold and purchased are records that have to be kept by ebay.

This does not even count for feedback left for others and so on.....

I'm not sure you are paying attention?? Ebay is having a problem finding my account. I have provided them screenshots of all records I have and they are supposedly trying to work it out but I have not gotten any info on how this could even happen. Who said I don't know my username? of course I know my username, you don't know my username.... big difference. I'm asking if anyone has heard of this before if it has ever happened to them.. if no then keep it moving?
