My First Neutral Feedback

Got my first neutral feedback.

"Item was returned to sender by mistake"

And it's from a 'seller'...what the heck?

This buyer moved from San Diego, CA to El Paso, Tx during the purchase and didn't leave a forwarding address.

So it's my fault?

Buyer opened a claim way back...I had to backtrack and found out I gave a refund the minute he opened a claim on June 19th. What the heck? Feedback was on June 29th.

No emails from this buyer.

Not even an update on an address.neutral feedback.JPG

FEEDBACK revision is broken : buyer only has 10 days to respond to my revision request.

I thought it was 30 days...stupid me.

And this sale states : "Past 6 months".

Re: My First Neutral Feedback

Another one today that makes no sense. It has to be because of the new feedback roll out. Why would a seller leave a Neutral feedback and state it was not your fault? (return to sender by mistake)

Re: My First Neutral Feedback

My neuts have all been strange like that - either not reading the listing, changing their mind or whatever. eBay's pestering buyers to leave SOMETHING for feedback likely feeds into this.

Maybe they felt pressed but on this one coming from a seller, seems a little off.

I do agree that pestering buyers to leave feedback can exacerbate the process.

Re: My First Neutral Feedback

A neutral FB is not a reflection on the seller.

A negative FB is.

Far too many sellers are concerned when they get a neutral.

It does not affect the FB percentage.

It is rarely read by anyone.

I does not say you did anything wrong.

The problem is you are letting it upset you.
