Whoa there mate,,,,As a buyer you can have a PayPal acct in SL. You can make outward payments and receive refunds from a credit card payment through PayPal. What you can't do is link an SL bank account/debit card to PayPal. You can only link a credit card. If eBay puts PayPal in a listing you can pay that way. When you are taken to PayPal to pay you'll need a card they'll accept.
If you're a seller in managed payments you don't need a PayPal account to accept PayPal payments. ADYEN accepts the payment and the proceeds go to eBay. eBay puts it in your checking acct or in your Payoneer acct.
