Multiple quantites of the same item

If I do a listing, letting potential buyers know that although I'm selling a dozen in a set, that there are multiple dozens available, does it count as one listing, in regard to the 50 listings per month for free?

Appreciate an answer to this.  Thanks

Yes, that's one listing. A fixed price listing will use only one of your free insertions, no matter how many items are offered.

If you put them in 1 listing, then it will count as 1 of your 50 listings.

You can list as a “lot of 12” and in your “quantity” you could say there are 10 quantities available.

Just watch your verbiage if you are using the “lot of 12” and the word “dozen” in the same listing. You don’t want a buyer becoming confused and thinking they are getting 144 of that item.

Hi @tamarisktreasures.   It's one listing.    Where you will "pay" with a listing like you describe is when the lots of 12 are purchased.   You'll pay FVFs on each lot as they are sold.

Thank you for clarifying.  Sold quite a bit years ago, but it's been awhile and so many changes in the options available to sellers.  Thanks again.

remember to put in the quantity.

I listed stuff this morning and I was gonna charge $2.99 each. Didn't fill in that there are 17 of them and the listing was a fixed price $2.99 with pictures of 17. So glad nobody bought it,

@tamarisktreasures

One other thing with listing multiples is that they count toward your $$ limit if you have one.

While a listing of multiple lots is only one listing the total possible $$ sale, and # of items such a 10 lots @ $20 each counts as $200 toward your selling limit.

Some sellers that start selling again after a break are considered as new sellers, and have # of items limits, and $$ limits.  1 listing with 10 lots would be 1 listing, but would count as 10 items against your item limit.  If you are a new seller you may not be able to use all 50 "free" listings, or all special promotion listings.
