Hey all!
Back again, this time with a question about templates and using them to create multiple listings.
When it comes to either creating a template or a listing multiple items at once, I've been doing that for a while now with success; however, when it comes to creating multiple listings BASED ON A SINGLE TEMPLATE, I'm dead in the water.
Is there a way to utilize a template that you've already created to design multiple listings? Let's say that I have a single trading card template that uses all of the same categories, descriptions, shipping info, etc, the only real difference being a variation in the title and an alternate picture. Is there no way to use a base template for this?
So far, I've found that I have to create the listing from scratch every time, then create copies of that same listing for however many items I want to list. After that, it's a matter of adding additional info to the title and adding an alternate photograph. It's not all that time consuming in the grand scheme of things, but I feel like it could be streamlined quite a bit.
Thanks for taking the time to read, and hopefully one of ya'll has a solution or workaround!

If you're not already using ebay's template system, click on create a new listing. That takes you to the "start your listing page." On the right, there's a link for "your templates." Click on that and you can create a template that will always be there to use when you start a new listing.
Or when you're listing several similar cards, after you create the first listing, click on sell similar. That will open a copy of the first listing and you can just change the title and any item specifics that need changing. List it, then click on sell similar again...

Hey, and thanks for the reply!
That is essentially what I'm doing now, and have done for quite some time. I'm more interested in taking one of the templates I've already made, and loading it into the multi-listing tool so that I don't have to repeatedly "sell similar" for every single listing I want to make.
Thanks again 🙂

If you use the Seller Hub, Bulk Lister you can create many at the same time. You create the first listing with everything that will be the same for each item. You then make copies of this listing. The copies are made within seconds. Once you created all the copies then you go to each listing and add the rest of the information.
I use Bulk Lister often. As I sell Hot Wheels most of each listing is the same. Mostly I am just changing the Title, adding the pictures and adjusting the price.
All this information is laid out in a Spreadsheet Sheet fashion.
Some functions you can change every item at once. If you had Shipping for 50 items set at $3.50 and you wanted to change it for all 50 items to $4.00 you can do this in a matter of seconds.
You can save your work for latter if you cannot finish everything in one secession and continue where you left off when you return.
Very useful tool for listing many Like Items.

I agree SG. I have not found a way to do it either. Both replies you received don't answer the question.

Would love to bump this for visibility - using templates in the multi-listing tool is a no-brainer and would significantly increase it's usability.

Once you have a template setup, create a single new listing, then instead of editing it, click save for later. Do this twice and then in your drafts you can select both of them and you'll then have the option to "resume drafts" which will put them both into the multiple listing tool and then you can copy more from there.
