Hello,
I wonder if anyone has a link here on EBay where you are allowed to have 2 EBay accounts..one for only selling and one for only posting here without selling.
I am told by some here this is possible without the classic bid-shielding scam.
I guess I learn something new every day.

Yes, you can have a few accounts, but you need a different email address for each account.
Allowed
Users may have multiple accounts on eBay. We understand that there are various reasons why someone would choose to have more than one account.
Not allowed
Registering new accounts or using other existing accounts to avoid buying and selling restrictions or limits or other policy consequences.

You were already given a link to this information in the original thread where you brought it up. I hope this puts an end to your posts regarding other people's member ids.
It's quite possible continuing to post similar comments would violate the Community Rules of Engagement.

So some here on this platform say yes you can have two accounts but when I read what you sent it says no.
So confused.

You can have more than 2 as long as they are in compliance with eBay rules.

Where on that linked page does it say "no?" Copy/paste or post a snippet/screenshot of the verbiage so we can take a look at it and perhaps clarify something for you.

That help page clearly talks about how to manage multiple accounts: "all accounts that a member uses are held to our buying and selling policies....you can use the accounts in whatever way works best for you....users who maintain businesses on eBay may prefer to manage separate accounts for different product lines....eBay expects users to manage each of their accounts effectively in order to meet the highest buyer and seller standards."

There are seller's with at least three or four selling accounts. And people can have multiple buying accounts for one reason or another.
For instance, someone may have a buying account for tax free purchases. And one not tax free. Or just an account to post in the message boards.

I have six selling accounts, one buying account, and an account that I use to submit VERO notices.

I have 4 - one for buying, one for selling, one for posting on the forums in Au and one for posting on the forums here.
Both posting id's clearly state it is a posting id and both have zero feedback

It's totally fine to have multiple accounts as long as you follow the rules. Another example from a seller standpoint is that you want to separate your type of ware. Maybe you sell children's clothes & books or toys & racy postcards or high end purses & Kmart purses, in all those cases, you may want to have separate accounts so that your buyers only see one type or category of items.

I've noticed one member who posts on this board with 15 member ids. S/he also sells with all 15.
Perfectly legit.
