I usually have very few returns. I think I had 4-5 all last year.
I am on my fourth this year. Well, fifth, if you count the extortionist who hopefully went away when I wouldn't immediately fold.
It's really clearly **bleep** claims too. Zipper was broken (it wasn't), color of JEANS was lighter in photo than on screen, my measurements were in error (they weren't), one was just "item wasn't as described"
Is this because of the new FREE returns policy? I am not offering that (but clearly I AM out of no choice of my own).
What gives. Super frustrating. Especially if it is a priority ship--I may have to stop shipping anything over a certain weight. I can't be having no sales (as this month) and constant returns of made up INAD **bleep**.

didn't we hear that eBay sent out emails to buyers telling them to go ahead and buy that stuff! If it doesn't work out, free returns!?

Yeah, at 7.00 a pop--that's gonna add up very quickly.
X2 actually, once to get it there, and once to ship it back.
That's painful.

For real? I must have missed that.
Yeah, maybe it's a fluke but if it's a trend, I am out. I can't be doing this--I'll be broke.

May I suggest sellers contact ebay frequently to request changes to the current SNAD policy.

No effort needed either, as though they are so used to gaming the system, they've just grown complacent.
This was an actual message this week:
"The zipper on the jeans came broken I would like a refund please"
That' s it. Nothing else. Like, did ya think I didn't check the zipper before I listed them? No, you don't care because you know there is nothing I can do.
Gonna go work in the yard and step away from this madness for a while. (:
