I bought several movies at my local library sale. One of the Movies American Pie 2 does not have Security Device Enclosed seal, as I seen in another listing with the movie sealed. The disc is sealed with the normal cellophane wrapped around it when you pick it up new. The back has a blue stamp mark saying disc made in Mexico. I read where people are seeing this in on movies at Wal-Mart. Should I sell it or trash it?

The made in Mexico blue stamp on the back is legit and the DVD is most likely real. Not all DVDs contain a secutity device. U could sell it but its not worth much...

I don't know the answer but I can tell you that there are hundreds of copies available on eBay, many for 2 or 3 dollars with some including shipping.

Thank you. I know. I just grabbed the sealed dvd's about 20 of them without really looking at them. I don't have that much into them, and supports the library. I think I got to the sale late. Win some. Loose some.

As a general thing, 99% of DVD's are next to worthless these days. Some special editions or Titles that are not available from any streaming service may have value.

I would've done the same thing, especially if they were all new and low price.
I'm finding out lately a lot of movies that i want to see are not available on netflix or amazon's streaming, or if they are they want you to pay extra fees...

I ended up keeping some of them for my own collection. I like watching movies I haven't seen before on Netflix. When I know want to re-watch one, I rather own my own copy.

Pretty much every DVD for any movie from the 1990s or later that you recognize the title to is worthless.
Sure, there are many exceptions, but every day the list of exceptions get shorter as more movies drop to worthless and stay there forever as the inventory builds up and the mega-charity sellers keep undercutting each other's prices by a penny.
