As far as removing the active content on listings. It looks like the Auctiva scrolling gallery is ac tive content and has to be removed. It was easy enough to ADD the scrolling gallery with a few buttons pushed - but wilit be just as easy to REMOVE IT?
I am reviewing my listings by filtering them and viewing them using a tool by isdntek to identify the active content.
What do subscribers of the Auctiva gallery do to completely remove the Auctiva Scrolling Gallery? Ideas? Suggestions?

Why not contact Auctiva and ask them..........at one point I think most of the providers of active content said they would have "something ready" before the old stuff had to be removed.....so you "may" go to all the trouble in removing when they might be able to flip a switch to change stuff......
just a suggestion..........

In the past it was a complete nightmare to remove that scrolling gallery. I have not used Auctiva in about 10 years so hopefully they found a solution but if not here is what we did to remove it. This took many days to do and was the best solution we could figure out.
We had to remove it manually from every listings by
The advantage to doing it this way is that you will also remove any other unknown active content you were not aware of. When you copy it back from a word processor it should remove all active content.
Another way to try is (I do not know if this will work or not)
Good Luck Selling!

If you go to the Auctiva site, they have already rolled out their active content free scrolling gallery and counter which is what is being used now.
If you have active ones in your listings Auctiva will replace them with active free ones but will take some time as their are many to do.
Auto-Updates:
The active content-free Scrolling Gallery and View Counter tools are now available for all new listings–that is, if you have the preferences enabled. If an active listing is eligible for revision and contains the old Scrolling Gallery or Sellathon Counter, we will automatically remove the old tool and replace them with the new, active content-free versions! Hello all, last year was a discussion here in some of this board, unfortunately I don't remember who was the member who posted that he will work on a solution for a bulk removal, I hope that he still here and read and still willing to work on it and share with us.
My question I did copied those for sure content in my listing then I got to bulk edit, opened the advance edit "find" I copied the code what I sure need to be remove, but the problem is there is the "replace" nothing to "replace" with so not working as I hope will be, anyone have any idea if somehow can make it work it would be much easier...

I don't know which find/replace tool you are using, but usually, if the "replace" is empty, the "find" will be removed. You just have to be sure that your "find" includes all the codes exactly.
Another option may be to use these tools

The tools are listed in the first four posts.

AUCTIVA keeps telling me that all of my 9 thousand plus listing are active content free but I scanned them through the active content scanner and I still have about 6 thousand with active content..also, when I press the preview button, the words amp and auctiva and in about 3 sentences above my description and the right side of my description border is gone...
I'm very concerned about this
