I am watching 4 auctions, 1 ends tonight, and 3 on monday. The later 3, I knew I still had time, but don't really pay attention until the end. Was a hectic day yesterday, and I was up late, up early for work, not much sleep.
On break, I check status of auctions. All four show ended on my phone. I even click on each one and it shows ended as well. So I think to myself, I got the days mixed up and missed out, but I KNOW they all didn't end the same day. One shows no bids at all, and ended. Wth?
Now, I'm home on the laptop, and all 4 are still active. I didn't get my days mixed up. Now I wonder how many buyers watching items see ended on their watch list on the phone, and never follow up on an actual computer. I know quite a few people who only use their phone for online anything, don't even own a computer. How many sales are sellers losing over this?
Has anyone experienced this?

Normally I would say switch to the classic site, but that hasn't worked now for a few weeks - but it should be fixed 'soon'.
The mobile site is worthless.

Is it always the cheapest? No, but I can spot a drop shipper pretty easily which just sends me somewhere else to verify my suspicion. I usually will only do payment business at home, but so many younger people I work with don't even own a computer, they consider it what they carry in their pocket. Who's going to bid on an "ended" auction?

All mobile sites are worthless. eBay's is no exception. I avoid using it.
Web browsers on phones and computers used to be different, but now a typical smart phone is just as capable as a PC when it comes to rendering a web site. Most phones even allow you to connect a monitor and keyboard/mouse. Now that Flash is officially dead, the line between desktop and mobile is even more blurred.
I always petition site developers to drop the mobile version entirely, as it always entails removing some content and functionality from the page. Maybe if enough users do it, the nuisance of mobile site versions will eventually go away.

As a buyer, yeah great, cheaper for me. As a seller, this really stinks to stumble across. I have used the mobile site for a very long time. It's only within the past year or so that I've started encountering errors out of nowhere.
