Mobile Checker - Bulk Editing?????

Has eBay come up with a way to run the Mobile Checker through Bulk Editing yet or does each item still have to be done individually?

When creating a listing can a default be set to simply have the item be created in a Mobile friendly format or would that make too much sense and - or be beyond the capabilites of the IT Department?

With Mobile device purchases (published) at or over 50% one would think it would be standard operating procedure to simply have all listing formats come standard with the mobile friendly version ... or is that being unrealistic?

I confess, it was a loaded question ...

I too wonder why they don't do it automatically, since they indicate such a high percentage of buyers are using mobile devices. Another thing I wish they would do, is, when the mobile checker is saved, that feature would no longer show above the description. Some times I think the techies get in their own way and can't make things simple.

Not that I'm aware of. It's still one at a time. I also found that some of my older listings have reverted back after being fixed. The meta tag issue was affecting them even through it was fixed a long time ago.

@timemachine777, @marilyn6122

Yep, even in Bulk Editor its one at a time but quicker at least doing it there.  Some come up and are actually legible prior to the "fix" ... seems it is a font size issue so they could probably make some simple changes and correct it so its a none issue ...

A few months back I was able to add the following in the descriptions doing bulk edit and it made all listings mobile compliant. I did them in batches of 50. I don't know if it will still work or not - you may want to try to bulk edit 2-3 as a group and then check them.

one thing that really puzzles me is that listings created on a mobile device are not mobile friendly either. you have to edit those one at a time. are  i/t workers on this planet like you and I? do they have any supervision? is there a qc department at ebay or do they just let everything fly as is?my head spins sometimes becuase of things which seem so evident are not implemented as should be? my rant for today!

I found that early on in the editing process but did not know where I could insert it ... if they had an Edit Field for that purpose then that could be cut and pasted and added to all listings ... how did you add that to existing descriptions?

I went to bulk edit -  edit fields and then clicked edit item description and inserted the line there - so it was added to all the items. Check a few after I submitted tham and all the items were then mobile compliant.

There's one problem right there. They're not on this planet. Their brains are in the clouds where the oxygen is too thin, and those that are on this planet suffer from too much pressure on the brain because their brains are up their butts, and all the weight from sitting all the time is too much for them. An as for upper management. It's already denoted in their title. Their brains have managed to get wedged a little higher up.
