Mistake in item description - free shipping.

I listed an item in which the buyer was to pay shipping. I mistakenly left old verbiage in the listing that said free shipping.

My listing has ended and buyer is confused.

How do I fix this?

You promised free shipping, you give them free shipping.

I get that. I’ve never had to adjust the price so I didn’t know how to do that post auction.

I figured it out. Thanks for the insight.

Good you figured out invoicing. In the future don't mention shipping in the description and you will avoid this issue. Shipping has its own place on the listing, it doesn't need to be mentioned in the description unless you're adding something specific like "signature required."

Oh, I see it was in your title. If people want to search for free ship items they will use the search filters provided, they won't type it in the search field. Keep your titles straightforward and relevant for better search placement. Looks like you did well selling all three items you listed. Congrats!

You stand by your listings and pay the shipping. It is not the buyers problem that you made an error.
We all make errors but we take responsibility for them and do what we say we are gonna do.

You need to honor the free shipping that you stated in the listing. If you have any other listings like that, you might want to remove the free shipping verbage if you don't want to actually give free shipping. Congrats on the sale!
