My 2nd last sale was a parcel shipped to the Czech Republic.  Surface mail, no tracking.  eBay had arrival marked as between July 21 - Oct. 13.  lol  It arrived!  Shipped out 5 1/2 weeks ago.  Buyer was very patient & trustworthy!  Do not see many patient buyers anymore.  Too many of them get free items so I guess impatience pays off!  On eBay, anyway.   Kudos to the guy in Czech!  Only time I had to refund with overseas buyers was thrice.  China, UK & Thailand.  I learned not to ship to Asia (except Hong Kong).  Anywhere else is fine.  It gave me a bit more faith in humanity.  Although, it's a low bar.   🤣

Congrats!   (Tracking stops once the package leaves the USA as far as I know.)

I have made several sales of expensive Irish crystal to Ukraine this year.   (I have a regular customer there.)  All arrived safely.  (Yet when I ship to Texas, stuff get's broken en route -- go figure.)

Regarding Asia... I ship frequently to Japan and South Korea, have never had a problem.   Othewise, like you, will only ship to Hong Kong.

Having said all that... eBay now assures us that it will handle everything, including refunds and negative  feedback, from international buyers. 

I'm not sure what to believe, quite frankly.

You are correct.  I forgot Japan.  First time I shipped there, I believe, it was an expensive baseball card.  Worry stopped when I got feedback.  lol  I'm in Canada & it is the same with overseas "tracking."  Once it leaves the borders, no more info is provided.
