Somewhere on another thread a couple of days ago, another seller mentioned they had called eBay about this and the CSR rep confirmed that the eBay Messaging system was messed up and eBay was aware of it. I'd hoped eBay would be able to get it fixed when they did the usual Thursday night site maintenance (which was last night), but apparently not.
Though I was able to reply to a potential buyer's message earlier this week, I would have expected the person would have responded back considering what they were inquiring about, but I've not heard a word.
Makes me wonder if it's not just sellers that are having issues with the system. Great. Last thing we need is irritated/frustrated buyers who just walk away in disgust because they can't get an answer to their questions not to mention how it's imperative to keep messaging between buyers/sellers within eBay Messaging if you hope to have any chance of resolving any problems in your favor. Way to go, eBay! NOT!
