Message in a combined invoice

When I send a combined invoice to a buyer, I include a short note.   I usually click the box to send a copy to myself.  Today I reviewed these combined invoices and the message I included is not included.   I'm wondering if the message is excluded from the copy sent to me for some unfathomable reason, or the message is simply not included in the buyer's message either, as a typical reduction in functionality.  It would be in keeping with 2023 Ebay to ask for a message and then exclude it.

What does this statement mean " It would be in keeping with 2023 Ebay to ask for a message and then exclude it. "?  I don't understand.

I've never notice this happening before.  Maybe it was just a glitch.  If it were to happen to me, I'd send a separate email to my buyer saying whatever it was that I originally in the note on the invoice so they had whatever info I was trying to provide them.

It is unlikely Ebay did this just to annoy you.  Hopefully it will all work out.

This has happened to me twice now. I have sent the buyers separate messages. I haven't heard back from them as to whether or not the invoice had my message attached or not.
