Does anyone know where and when the memorial service is going to be? Ebay has obviously died. Before those who work for ebay on these boards say anything, yes I know this is the worst time of year on here.

You hold a memorial service for a person who died.
Not for the country he lived in when he died.

Memorial services are daily and often. They are held here on the boards and are represented by the numerous posts about eBay dying and how MP and the Seller HUB have killed it...yet, it never happens.
Ironically, we will probably all have our memorial services before eBay does.

Don't be so sure. I believe that's what Montgomery Wards, Circuit City, etc, thought the same, all of YOU will be long gone, before we will be. Plus Sears / K-Mart is on life support, waiting for the plug to be pulled.😘

Probably in the OPs basement.

There is no site-wide "worst time". Your worst time is someone else's best. Anyway, with improving weather and lots of people having been vaccinated for COVID, why wouldn't you expect sales to drop?

Yes. Feb 31st, 2022.

Montgomery Ward's is not dead, it's gone to online sales along with Payless Shoes. Circuit City is still around with different format. Didn't Mark Twain say, the news of my passing is premature!

Two random thoughts here:
"Ebay has obviously died."
There's an old saying: "Just because you can't do it, doesn't mean it can't be done."
If you're looking for increasing sales.. many on this board can offer constructive help.
"Before those who work for ebay on these boards say anything ..."
Those type of comments always confuse me.
Couldn't this imply that those who speak out against eBay, work for one of eBay's competitors?
Again,
many sellers here can possibly help, if asked.
Thanks.
Respectfully,
Lynn

Did you just accuse the many sellers who come here volunteering to help others with problems of being ebay workers?
No good deed...

One of my best weeks ever. Just last night as I was packing stuff up I was beginning to think this is too much work. I suspect that my memorial services will precede eBay's at which point it will be of no concern to me. Wife is not complaining about the $$ flow into her eBay checking.

Sorry, it's not eBay that's dying, what you sell is the dead thing.
Who wants to devote a ton of room to real books when their Amazon account can hold unlimited books?

My local thrift store actually stopped accepting books a while ago. They were getting way too many and they couldn't sell them off fast enough, even at 25 cents each.

Don't need a ton of room to store books in, there still is a thing called a Library! I am sure there are way more then a few people that like the holding a real book or newspaper in their hands while reading. Me included.
