Looks like this Wed April 21st I will be moved over to managed payments. I mostly sell in the Adult Only categories and since middle of last year was told I would not be moved over to MPs until the restricted category I sell in would be accepted by managed payments. Last week I noticed the Managed payments restricted items policy had changed and adults only were no longer listed:
Sellers enrolled in managed payments are not allowed to list the following items:
Listings containing nudity and sexually-oriented adult material must be listed in the Everything Else > Adult Only category.
---
It only states adult materials must be listed in the Adult Only category. I have talked to 2 people at ebay the last few days and both have reassured me that Adult Only items are included within Managed Payments and that I will have no issues. The person I spoke with today said that I would not have been moved into MP unless the category I most frequently list in becomes "unrestricted" which it appears the Adult Only category has.
Of course I won't believe it until I see it. Has anyone else that's enrolled in managed payments been able to sell in Adult Only categories such as DVDs and Magazines?

@fulton1973 Adult Only items are no longer restricted with managed payments, meaning you will still be able to list them. Currently, buyers can only pay using PayPal in the Adult Only category for managed payment listings.

Not sure what you are getting at. It says you will be in MP on April 21st and it also says nudity and sex must be in the adulty category. Why would you not be able to list in the adult category ?

For at least a year the Adult Only category was part of their restricted categories list. The image below was from a couple of months ago before they updated the categories list. Adult only items were on the list:
That's the main reason I was asking since a lot of sellers had to stop selling adult items since managed payments were not accepted. I was able to have ebay push me back with migrating over since I mostly sell adult items so I was concerned. Looks like they finally worked something out with the banks / payment processors.

I am in the same situation as you, switching over today. Mine is closer to a quarter of my store, but still a big important part. Thanks for asking the question, and thanks to all who gave input. I hope this goes well.😳
