About the time Managed Payments were enabled, I had a series of errors. A couple were my fault. Several were not - like late arrival when shipped on time. I try to contact ebay support and it appears to be shut down. Maybe because Covid 19 is hitting India (where most phone support is located). I managed to get an email through to ebay and in response I am told that they can see that most of the recent defects are out of my control, and that they should be removed. Then, a few days later, ebay starts delisting my items.
Is there any way of controlling this rudderless ebay ship from destroying my 19 year history of almost all either Above Standard or Top Seller status with 100% positive feedback?

How would "late arrival when shipped on time" be any different from paypal to managed payments?

How does the way you get paid change anything else??

I had been using QR codes to have the post office print my shipping labels. Then I got an email from ebay saying I must go through this registration process to be enrolled in Managed Payments. So I went through asking me about addresses and other stuff. Hence forth I no longer got my QR codes emailed to me on my phone. Worked on my Windows laptop but not the phone. I had to either forward the emails to my phone (and sometimes that didn't work} or lug my laptop up to the post office counter. This caused delays and confusion that led me to send the wrong item to a customer. I ate the loss and refunded the customer.
Then I got a defect for late delivery. Shipped on time. Covid slowed everything down, but I got the blame.
Then ebay's callback service wasn't there. I'm guessing since India is getting so hard hit by pandemic, they closed their call centers down. Just guessing. But I managed to get an email through and was assured all but one of my defects could be cancelled. Then right after that, ebay started tackling my listings down because of my defects. Ebay is broken and I have no way of reaching them. One communication was answered followed by cutting my inventory in half. They could at least tell me how many items I'll be left with so I can selectively relist some. This all started with Managed Payments. Not all caused by that, but ebay seems to have not been all there since them, making it all but impossible to even try to recover my rating.
My theory is that when ebay had me answer all those questions they already had answers to in order to enlist me in Managed Payments, something got garbled in my email account and QR codes became a PITA. The rest may be due to covid measures and yes, there was one purchase I messed up by listing two of something I only had one of. But I persevered and compensated the buyer and they seemed alright with it.

I don't know how all ebay's system components interrelate. I'm just saying my problems started at that time. Before I was Above Standard. Not too long before that I was a Top Rated seller. Never been Below Standard. Can't even recall being Average.

Managed payments hit and I fell from Above Standard to Below Standard
You will be Below Standard if you fail to meet one of the thresholds for Above Standard. Which specific benchmarks did you fail to meet?
Both of those benchmarks are entirely within your control.
A couple were my fault. Several were not - like late arrival when shipped on time
You mentioned late shipments, but I believe the late shipment rate and the tracking uploaded on time benchmarks are only requirements for Top Rated status; I do not believe they are considered for Above Standard.
So to sum up - can you explain what *specifically* caused you to be Below Standard? Because the late deliveries you mentioned should not have put you below standard.
