What happens to my current listings and sales if I do not choose to partake in the dictating of the managed payment process?

Your account closes.

All your listings started under PayPal will pay out to PayPal, if they sell.

When the "opt in" date arrives in the past sellers were no longer able to add new listings, or edit current listings if the chose not to play in the sand box by eBay rules.  I believe that policy is still in effect.

I'm with you on this one. The OP sells coins... maybe eBay is 'slow-walking' @moorehobbies. Fingers crossed...

Your account does not close but the ability to create new listings will be blocked. In the past eBay et your current listings stay active but now it sounds like buy now items may be ended as eBay requires all buy now items to be in MP by the time the enrollment dead line comes and goes.  Not allowing Buy now items to continue to run with PayPal they are removing sellers ability to refuse to switch and stay on eBay with out using MP. Before a anchor seller with thousands of items listed could continue to sell with out enrolling while they made sells till they had nothing left. A lot of sellers where doing this as almost every one did not want the move from PayPal. They are just drawing a smaller line in the sand The best thing to do is get a 2nd checking account for eBay now rather than later as they will not be moving away from this current direction of processing the payments them self.  Even if the buyer pays using PayPal, then PayPal is just the buyers funding source and n different from a debit or credit card.

My guess to many sellers were stretching the dead line by running by now GTC listings and eBay has shortened the time frame by only allowing current auction items to continue to run as for the most part a auction will run for a week or so and depending on if the seller had auto relist selected then they only can extend the time their current listings can run based off of how many times the auto relist is set for.

All AUCTIONS will pay out to paypal IF they were started before a seller was migrated......... Fixed priced stuff is immediately migrated and from past posts, at some point sellers can't list/edit/relist.......however, items are still for sale and the money is held until the seller signs up......and the seller is expected to ship as per his handling time.
