Managed Payments and the Ability to Invoice Buyer for additional charge

I do not get requests like this too often, but we do not currently have our listings set up for mutiple shipping methods and prices, as we offer free shipping on everything with Priority Mail. I used to check off Priority Mail express for additional charge and I really need to do that again for the Holiday coming up. But today I got one of those I need it in two days quarenteed and found myself having to ask the buyer if they have a PP account to pay extra for the extra fast shipping. It would have been nice if we could invoice through ebay as well if stuff like this happens.

In addition to free shipping for regular Priority Mail, all listings must include Priority Mail Express as an option. You can request express shipping without paying even if you choose Regular priority mail. They may do this accidentally without realizing that the item will arrive late. Otherwise, you will lose your profit margin if you do not invoice for the remainder.

Managed Payments and the Capability to Charge the Buyer Extra

I don't get requests like this very often, but since we offer free delivery on everything with Priority Mail, we do not currently have our listings set up for several shipping methods and pricing. Priority Mail express used to be checked off, and I really need to do that again for the upcoming holiday. Today, though, I received one of those "I need it in two days guaranteed" orders, and I found myself having to ask the customer whether they have a PayPal account in order to pay an additional fee for the extra quick shipment. If something like this happens, it would have been wonderful if we could also invoice through eBay.

It is important to ask serious questions about authentication—a case of pivotal importance.

It could be the pivotal case that makes eBay come up with these terrible ideas to change course.

In general, I sell higher-value items from our items infrequently. A few sales a year. In advertisements, am I the target demographic for using this platform to sell items? Isn't that the pitch? Sell your used items. However, they are high-end items. I take great photos, write informative descriptions, and I'm generally reasonable in how I interact with buyers. According to all accounts, I am a perfect seller—an eBay member for maybe 15 years.

eBay self-inflicted this wound. As a result, they sabotaged a deal between two established and credible ebayers, lost revenue, and lost additional money in partially correcting their mistake. All the external liabilities passed on to sellers make this authentication concept a guaranteed losing proposition for eBay. They cover all bases on a purely legal pretext in their terms and conditions, but the optics and principle value are awful. In a sense, it makes their terms and conditions moot. It's probably bad if it looks and sounds bad.

I owe eBay a deep apology. It is both the people who implemented this idea and the "authenticator" who is underqualunderqualifiedied (more on this below). The loss of sale funds and the loss of items are also covered.

Error message repeatedly displayed when scanning forms

Does anyone need help to generate a Scan Form with eBay Bulk Shipping Labels?
I used Bulk Shipping this morning to create 12 shipping labels without issues. My USPS Scan form won't generate anymore.
I love eBay! On Monday, I'll have to stand in line at the local PO while they complain and scan each package and box individually.

Question

I purchased two products from this seller in the same transaction, and he provided me with two tracking numbers; one of them is active, the other is inactive; and when I contacted him about it, he said they would arrive separately. Is anything wrong at all? Advice?

As I mentioned, I used to be able to bulk edit all these listings over 600 and add Priority Mail Express as an extra charge, along with all the listings showing for free with just regular priority mail. As far as I can tell, when I tried to bulk edit today, there is no option to add an additional service unless I am not doing it correctly.

novice inquiry

I just started selling on eBay. It's been enjoyable, and up until today, no major problems have arisen. A vendor informed me that a package I sent had been damaged. It was a metal pineapple ice bucket from the 1950s that was Quite durable. Although being new to eBay, I have experience shipping items, thus everything was carefully wrapped. He provided me pictures of the metal, which is 1/4" thick, having a large break and a 3" dent, but the box has not been harmed at all. I can't get it to add up. Anybody have suggestions? He is going to ask eBay for a complete refund, and I have filed a claim with FedEx on his behalf. Not how I had hoped to begin my week.

Managing payments and invoicing buyers for additional charges

For future listings, I only need to include the option for buyers to pay extra for Priority Mail express along with free shipping for regular priority mail. It is possible, however, to request the regular priority mail to come in with the express without paying for it. If they do this accidentally, they may realize the item will arrive after the due date. Your profit margin will still be hit if you don't invoice for the remainder.

Express shipments have usually been no problem for us. There are some people who really need their stuff for a birthday or holiday and most of the time they are very appreciative of the gift and do not return it.

Well this is a new wrinkle on posts to disrupt the boards.

Not quite sure what to report this as to the mods.
