Managed Payments - Terrible!!

"Awaiting shipment means the buyer’s payment is confirmed and it’s time to ship the order".

Right...eBay wants me to ship the order, but it takes about 5 business days before the funds are in my account.  Pay Pal made the funds available immediately. On top of that eBay charges a fee on the shipping charges.

I don't want to even start my rant about the terrible New Seller Hub.

Just like all payment processors, their fee's are based on the total amount the buyer paid for the item, shipping charge and sales tax.

Have a great day.

Re: Managed Payments - Terrible!!

I got a question for you. Why don't they give us a decent spread sheet of where these fees are from. One side sales other side fees total at the bottom. **bleep**...Did 150 in sales last week payout 8. **bleep** im canceling immediately this horse shoe explative ebay program. As soon as i find the cancel button.

You may want to do some research on "double taxation" before you continue to post erroneous comments about it.

Double taxation refers to income tax being paid twice on the same source of income. It has nothing to do with eBay charging fees for computing, assessing, collecting and distributing sales tax.

Sales tax is paid by the BUYER anyway, not the seller, so the BUYER is paying the sales tax and eBay is charging the SELLER a fee on that sales tax. Pretty sure the Constitution doesn't address that particular scenario . . . 🤣

You can find all the fee's under the Payments tab in the Seller Hub.

Have a great day.

So far it has been a total fail for me. Long story short .... My first payout was shown as sent to my checking account on May 4th and still has not landed in the bank. I have talked with the MP team almost every day since May 10th and their only advice is to renter the banking info (which I have done at least 4 times now both thru online banking and manually) and wait a few more days. No one can seem to figure out why it is not working and do not really seem to care that I had to put my listings on "time away" until it gets figured out. Its very frustrating!

Might be worth checking to see if your bank uses a different routing number for ACH transfers.
