Did you mean:

Make it make sense.

Researching a child sized wheelchair and the closed solds came up included vintage diapers.

Why the elf are vintage packs of diapers selling for real money?

Is this some Disney Black Diamond nonsense or do I really have to start buying diapers for a fetish crowd?

Girl. GURL.

How dare you!

We all know 1970 was 30 years ago, 1990 was 10 years ago and everything between 9/11 and the Great Quar is last year 😂

LOL hey I totally get it; if you are old enough to remember a year it doesn't feel like that long ago, and time seems to speed up even faster, the older you get.

Thinking back ... okay I was born in '73, so it was the 80's by the time I was old enough to really begin thinking about time in the abstract.  And at that time if you'd asked me if the 50's were "long ago" I would have answered in the STRONG affirmative.  -But that was only 30 years.  NOW if you ask me if the 90's were long ago, I'd be like "Nah, not at all!"

And .... okay hopefully only you will read this because I think you'd agree and I really don't want to start a big 'thing' with those who don't  .... but I do feel democracy in America is presently at threat.  And what's so weird to me is watching people talk about the Constitution, and thinking about it, myself, all the contradictions that come to mind.  On the one hand, I get what's special about it, what was fresh and revolutionary about it, but on the other hand, in some ways, it feels abysmally outdated, because of the speed of technological progress that happened afterward, all the changes the Founding Fathers couldn't have possibly envisioned.  Yet some people seem to think our rights are solid, cemented, because they're "old" like the Bible or something.  No they're not, LOL!  America is a toddler in the grand scheme of things!  It's also relatively enormous, size-wise, which maybe makes it hard to picture getting wrangled by authoritarians, but all it would take is better organization for 'J6' types to do a "better" job as deputies than they did ON J6, all over the country.  Did you happen to see the A24 'Civil War' movie that came out last year?  Effing terrifying.

The older I get, the more I get the old saying,
Europeans think 100 miles is a long distance,
Americans think 100 years is a long time.

There is no concern which is why it appears baffling.

I already take money from weirdos. Why would other different weirdos give me the ick?

@grand-and-glorious-purpose

Actually, I find everyone's opinions on this topic quite interesting.  I was born many years before @gurlcat  and way before disposable diapers were likely even invented.  I will, curiously enough, next time I travel to a real store take a look at the disposable diaper offerings and take note of where they are manufactured.

Depending what I find out, it may be that  that the  old 'vintage cloth' diapers may become more in fashion again if the disposable versions are manufactured in China.  So if you see some old cloth diapers for cheap, it may not be a bad investment. You could always use them to dust or wax your furniture, wash down your countertops, wash your cars, etc.  especially if other products we are used to become extinct or cost prohibitive as well.

One of my jobs before ebay in the mid 90s was multiple site janitorial daily service.

We purchased all of our rags from a diaper service because they were low lint.
