Lowering Price Point

Hello,

I often see see items for sale at 10% off or 20% off. If I have items that are not moving can I generate my own sale or is that up to eBay to decide when I can offer something? Should I just edit the item and lower the price?

Thanks

Do you have a store?

If you cannot use markdowns then you can always try lowering the price little by little until it sells

You have a store subscription- so unless things are different on .ca then you should be able to set up markdowns through the Marketing tab in Seller Hub**

**Disclaimer: I'm not sure if the Starter Store has access to promotions- so if that's your store level you might not have access.

You can run a store sale of your own percent off choice when ever you want. I also recommend send coupon 10% off I have been getting a lot of repeat buys doing that.

That's good to know as I have not used coupons yet but have been thinking about it

'tis the season to try right? 😁🎅

I use send offers to buyers to try to get things moving - that only works for interested parties but it's another way to generate some sales.
