I have noticed a massive (67%) decrease in my impressions since the 11th August. My traffic just fell of a cliff on this date. This must be down to some sort of algorithm change as it literally happened overnight.
Has anybody else experienced the same thing?
My suspicion is RE the contact details in listings policy change. I suspect they may be using some sort of software to identify telephone numbers or e-mail addresses in the descriptions and applying a penalty. I have used search and replace to remove them now so will be interesting to see if there is any impact on impressions in the coming days.
Has anybody else got any ideas as to what could be the root cause of this impressions drop? I know i am not the only one to experience this so i dont believe it to be specific to me and my account.
