Low Sales

Hello,

I am facing low sales from this month and particularly this week, from last two days I feel like sales are dead.

I have done promoted listings, active markdowns , coupons and everything which is possibly to advertise more but the results are so disappointing.

My seller level is fine, no cases are  opened and I am listing daily on my account but I have no idea what's wrong.

Is anybody have ideas to bring the sales up?? or it's normal for all?? 😞 😞 😞 :(.

Thanks

Your titles are misleading. You use the term "Antique" in your listings, yet none of them are antiques, all are modern creations. You use "Diamond" and "Emerald" in your listings, but all are lab created. Some of your listings say "Gold" in the title, but the Fine Print says gold plated. You are selling overpriced lab created, plated jewelry.

Maybe many buyers prefer the real thing instead of lab made or even a different metal than claimed. Maybe many buyers do not like extremely misleading titles versus what you than qualify. Many buyers may think you operate in a "shady" fashion.

EX: Estate Vintage 18K Yellow Gold Over Love Bangle Men’s/Women's 7.5" Fine Bracelet

Your detail says it is new. How can that be an Estate Vintage item?

Your detail says says 18K yellow gold over.......than lower down it says "sterling silver" How can that be 18K Gold?

Misleading people does not help sales. Long term survival and building customer loyalty comes from being honest and not deceitful.

Just out thoughts..............

Are you drop shipping? Your id says located in India item location New Jersey the slow shipping may indicate you maybe shipping from elsewhere?? You need a return policy. Lower your prices you have thousands listed and so few sales which means your not selling in demand items you need to do some research and get some trending products to sell. If your not getting sales your not listing the right products or your prices are inflated or your drop shipping. The two negative feedbacks you have are not helping.

@diamond_scotch

You're from India dropshipping from the US.

You're feedback is bad.

You're selling new items as Antique and Vintage.

You're descriptions don't describe the items.

Have a great day.

It is August that is a slow month for a lot of sellers

Those who can are on vacation enjoying the summer season while school is out and  weather is warm

Things should pick up very soon

Your very user name leads buyers believe real diamonds

You are selling high end well made  man made jewelry

Your listings DO appear to be misleading

vintage style ok

art deco style ok

But to simply put vintage /art deco is misleading the buyer who are  if they do not  read listing details carefully will believe they are purchasing older  pre-owned estate /old stock real naturally formed jewelry

Might want to consider re-working some of your business decisions thus far

IMHO

August and the world scene. Not surprised.

Back to school, end of summer vacations, college costs, etc......

August is typically slower and many have little excess disposable income right now to spend on wants vs needs.

Under promise, over deliver as regards the wares you offer for sale.  You can do everything right and still have buyer issues as a Seller - please consider re-working your listings to be "more clear" on what your listings represent.  Good luck!

You claim to be in the US, but your account is registered in India, you're selling "red, yellow ect" fake gems, and I'm pretty sure you're violating something to do with the multiple variation listings policy by the way you list.

In other words, buyers might have gotten wise to your ways and realize they can by the same stuff for pennies out of a bubble gum machine.

I realize that Sold Items does not give the whole story, but looking at your Sold Item list:

I see ~38 sold items in the first 19 days of August.

I see ~25 sold items in the first 19 days of July.

I see ~30 sold items in the first 19 days of June.

Rather than  "feeling", can you give us an idea how much your sales have fallen off compared the the first 19 days of the previous months, in terms of both dollars and number of sales?
