Is this one of the items that you already have listed or a new listing?

What is the item and what type of shipping are you trying to use?

In Seller Hub under Listings, find Business Policies.

There you can create Shipping Policies and then when you are creating your listings within the listing tool, you will be able to select which shipping policy(method/service) you would like to use and then you will be able to add the dimensions and weight of the package within the listing tool.

Did you enter a package size with 3 dimensions and a weight?  Is it the right service, ie you can't ship clothes Media Mail and anything over 13 oz can't go First Class.   (I thought it was 16 oz but the USPS site says 13.)

Why does this have to be so complicated? I just want to list an item and sell it. I never had this problem before!

EDIT... Now I can't change the format and 5here is no shipping policy option just a blank.

Sounds like you’ve been opted into business policies.  To opt out go to

I did. Didn't save it though. Entered the dimensions in at least 3 times.

I'm having this same issue. It's absolutely ridiculous and is making me not want to bother with Ebay. Spent 40 mins on this, never had this problem in the past. It really shouldn't be this troublesome.

I am getting this error trying to list an art print. eBay has gotten to where they don't even want you listing anything on here anymore. This is so dumb it's laughable.

Figure it out, or don't. eBay doesn't care. They don't monitor these forums, they just created these as a place to dump your silly bothersome questions where they don't have to deal with them.
