Have a Buyer really upset.
Title indicates the item is MOC (mint on card), the driver, year of the release, 1:64 scale, raceway diecast, etc etc
Description indicates Hang Card is 4" x 6" and diecast is 3" long (approx), again states 1:64 scale and describes the hang card has no bends, no tears, no issues and is MOC. Indicates these are raceway exclusives sold at the track.
Item Specifics also re-state the scale of diecast (1:64) and length as approx 3" (I think it is just barely over 3" by a nano/micro) and approx 1.5" tall
Indicates it is a diecast car (and they are) - these are Nascar diecast, etc. from the Talladega Speedway gift shop. Some we sell are on a hang card and some (exact same size car) are in a box. Depends on the year - a lot of the older ones were hang cards and now they are usually in a box, etc.
There are a total of 5 pix - Front of Card, Back of Card, Close UP of the front of the card, Close up of the back of the card that states the driver and year and info and a pix of the tag from the Talladega Speedway on the item for sale.
Buyer is SO UPSET! This is a teeny tiny car! What are we thinking??? (btw, the hang card states 1:64 scale on the actual card in the pictures). "total rip off" and on and on.
So much ranting and this was $14.89 with free shipping. Wow. Guarantee no Buyer reads the item specifics that we type in and that is why we "re-state" everything in the description.....and yet.

Yeah, I know those really get upsetting. I love the one’s I get with a return request when we have some of the best close up photo’s and plenty of them in every possible direction with ruler’s showing size and buyer says in return, “NOT WHAT I EXPECTED”. Carry on Katz, just another day in buyer no read no see.

Gauge value of product in your own opinion vs the world's opinion. It will hopefully be close but not exact. Also, Nascar is a no no in my opinion.

We're still the cheapest price (about $2 less) than the other 4 listed. 5 of us have it.....these are days I am sorry we were the best price.
Will see if they open a return/SNAD. We offer returns, 30 days, Buyer pays. My guess is this will be a SNAD and I will get to pay to ship it back to us and it will be open, used and mauled by their dawg. lol
Thank you for being so kind. For $14.89 and free shipping, you wonder what they thought they were getting? *plah

You are so funny, Yeah plah!

Some days you just gotta wonder. I'm thinking of starting a Pound Head on Desk club for all of the sellers who run into examples of people who should not be allowed loose with a credit card and no adult supervision.

Can I ask why?
We have sold about 80 of these in different varieties/drivers. They were remainder stock in a pallet we bought and early 2000's, so kinda slow sellers, etc. Dropped the price on them a little after Christmas to try and sell off those remaining.........first time we have had an issue on the Nascar diecast.....

I can bring snacks if this club has snacks? lol ( I'll do about anything for snacks and if you have PIE, I will follow you anywhere.....lol)

You do realize that a good, strong, loud complaint from a buyer about how disappointed they are can, and frequently is, the bullying beginning to a refund - right? Just tell them 'please return for refund'.
We all know they read it.

Yes - I went to the BBL first and then I have a template that is nice and written when I am not calling the buyer names we cannot type here and it tells them we stand behind every product we sell, return it to us and we will gladly refund them for the item, etc. I never say "full" refund, as I expect them to pay to ship it back, but original shipping was "free", so we would eat that, like usual.
And you are right....this is definitely the start of the unhappies that leads to the devastation I have created for their child and the ultimate life scarring, etc. And the SNAD I will have to gladly refund in full when it hits our PO box.

Only a no, no, because it has no value. Just like every upper deck Brett Favre has no value.

Gotcha...they were part of a pallet - our cost basis is about .60 cents/per. We have 13 left - just wanna be done with them.

😀 I see you are well acquainted with Murphy's Laws, too.

To the buyer’s defense, you weren’t very clear on the scale size of the car. What scale was it again? 1:24 was it? 😉
