Good morning to all-
Is anyone noticing on many new listings that only the country is showing where the item is shipping from and not the actual location? (Kansas City, MO, Waimanalo, Hawaii, etc.) I thought that was an absolute must because buyers need to know where their items come from. I was looking at something this morning that I was interested in and their location just showed "US"...that's it.
It's confusing enough with all the drop shippers who are all over the map. Any ideas? Thanks in advance...🤙

Hello,
I am very curious if you ever received a satisfactory reply and/or solution from eBay? Currently I have several accounts that are experiencing similar "item location policy" "violations" It's been going on for several months. The thing is all of my items ship from the same location and all my listings have always reflected this.
My thought is it's some kind of bug in eBay's algorithm. When I call eBay I get a different "solution" depending on which rep I'm talking to. None of the solutions have worked. More and more of my listings get taken down as time goes on.
I would greatly appreciate any insight you could give.

Hello,
I apologize for the significant delay.
It took me six months to resolve the issue of my items receiving depressed impressions, but I've finally gotten my account back on track.
However, eBay never informed me of what I did wrong or how I fixed my workflow. It appears to be a genuine bug on their part, which is quite embarrassing.
Best regards,
Alex

cant see where a seller is from...not sure why
I noticed it a few days before the search bars were messed up for a day or so
Seeing where the seller is from can be very different from the location that appears on the listings. The two do not have to be the same.

If they are offering free shipping, the location isn't really needed....
Or even if they're charging a flat price for shipping. A seller can just remove the ZIP Code and enter "US".
They can, but unless the rule has changed recently, it is against the rules. The location in listings is suppose to be City and state for the USA.
