Did you try to list more and couldn't?  In other words, why are you asking about higher limits?

Not trying to be snarky but you're going to have some issues with selling anything.  Your descriptions are totally inadequate for your prices.

You don't have enough photos, your titles aren't good, you don't show any marks/signatures and, for one example, why do you say "may be Cameo."  It either is or it isn't cameo glass.

I know what a Victorian mourning wreath is made from but that should be in your title, along with size, age (as best as you can date it), and more words buyers may use in searching for that item or genre.

I'm afraid you're leaving yourself very wide open for some serious scamming.  List some less expensive items and build up your feedback and "street cred."

You have 0 feedback, nothing sold, and have a lot of high-dollar items already listed(which I have no idea how).

Why would you want to list more until you figure out the lay of the land on here?

It generally takes 90 days with so-many transactions done successfully. Here is the link with everything you need to know about ebay limits on sellers.

Be cautious. New sellers of high value items are sometimes targetted by scammers. I advise friends not to sell expensive items here until they get some Feedback going and some experience on the platform. Just a word to the wise.

Clairpop, I just took a look at your listings. Beautiful items. But there are two listings that do not meet ebay policies, the tortoise shell items. Here is the policy:

What will you do when a buyer files a not as described (SNAD) claim?

What will you do five months from now when a buyer files a Paypal claim?

Did you know that the money is not yours for SIX MONTHS?  Paypal allows buyers to file a claim for 180 days after purchase - not to mention credit card chargeback that can happen, sometimes up to a year after the sale.

List some inexpensive items you have lying around the house first to get the hang of this. Don't jump head first into an empty swimming pool (or a tank of sharks), which is what you are doing now.

The easier you are to offend the easier you are to control.

In OP's case I think it will be later not sooner that limits are raised.... If a high dollar item sells ebay will wait to see the outcome of how you handle the transaction and do that on many until ebay sees you as a trustworthy seller.    If I was a buyer I would be very leary of a 0 feedback seller offering those types of items and I would not want to jump in and give them those sums of money UPFRONT .  With no sales it makes me very skeptical.

Lovely items you've got there OP.

So true.  As suggested by the other members,  best to build up your feedback first and learn the ropes in the process.

As others have said experienced buyers are not going to purchase high priced items from a seller with no feedback.   And ebay is not going to raise your selling limits until you have a history of successfully completed sales, so your chances for success on ebay in the near future are very slim.

Every new account I start up sells cheap things at first and slowly ramps up as feedback, time, standing as a seller, experience, etc. all go up.  Low feedback is a big flag to unscrupulous buyers to take advantage of you.  This is the time you need to concentrate on the basics of the eBay selling machine.  You take it on the chin a few times, learn lots of new things along the way, and slowly become a more seasoned seller over time.  As that happens eBay will gradually raise your limits.  You have to proove yourself first though.  High dollar items will only make your start a lot more volitile.

@clairpop-7  Is there someone else in your home that sells on eBay?   I am guessing there is in order for  this ID to be able to list that many high dollar items with (0) FB and only going active at the end of May this year.

I agree with others who have posted ... walk before you run.  You really need to sell items in the first few months and the fine things you have for sale may be slow movers.  Try some lower cost items so you gain exerience completing trasnactions.  Do you have a ready supply of packaging materials and know how to pack some of those figurings securely so they arrive at their destination intact?
