We have about 10 listings that went out of stock. Now that we got more stock, I edited/revised the listings and added quantity and saved. Quantity is showing correct on seller dashboard, but the listing on eBay still shows "out of stock". I can't get the quantity to update.

It can take up to 24 hours for new and revised listings to get reindexed and show in the general search.

thanks for the reply, however, it's been 12 days now that the listings won't update the quantity. I've opened a support ticket with eBay and they keep saying every couple days that they are working on it, but yet still nothing has been fixed. It's the strangest thing. We've been selling on eBay for 19 years and never experienced this. We now have 12 listings that won't update the quantity. I don't understand how it can take so long for their tech support to fix this. Wondered is anyone else experiencing this?

I'm sorry you are having this issue. I would suggest you report this problem on the Technical forum. It can get you some help sometimes.

I bet a nickel this is not happening.
I say user error/mistake/misunderstanding.

Is it a variations listing?
If so, you need to correct the quantity in the variations part of the listing then click on "save and close" (the changes have not been made yet) THEN you have to click on "revise it" for the changes to take effect.

That's the long way round.
All you have to do with variations is pull up the listing in actives, then click on # variations, then use the 'pencil' to update the qty on each.
Easy Peasy

Tell us some of the titles of these listings and/or the listing number so we can try to call them up.

Thanks for your replies. Just to clarify what some other people suggested, these are NOT variation listings so it's nothing to do with that. Plus, as I mentioned, we've been selling for 19 years so it's not a user mistake on our end, as we do know what we're doing. This has never happened. Here are a few of the listing item numbers that we're having trouble with:
163661986305 (this has 30 qty showing on my "active listings" screen, yet shows "out of stock" on eBay)
151320633819 (this has 10 qty showing on my "active listings" screen, yet shows "out of stock" on eBay)
153478047508 (this has 60 qty showing on my "active listings" screen, yet shows "out of stock" on eBay)
There are 9 others too.
I've tried revising and editing multiple times, and changing the quantities and refreshing, clearing cookies, clearing history, changing browsers. Nothing works. I've reported to eBay and talked with multiple agents, nobody can solve it and all I've got back each time is that they are "working" on it, and the last call from Friday said they escalated it to priority status, but still nothing has been fixed. Super frustrating. I don't want to just create new listings because these have sales history and reviews. Any help is appreciated! Thank you!

Did you post this issue on the Technical Board? In a previous post I gave you the suggestion and link so you can do this.
I viewed a couple of the listings you provided and I see that they are Out of Stock. Very odd.

I did post to the technical board, thanks for that. I also spoke again with eBay yesterday. Same story, that they are "working on it" and that other sellers are also experiencing the same problem, although I have not seen any other posts indicating this. I just can't believe it's now been 15 days since I reported problem to them and after 4 follow-up phone calls they still haven't resolved it.

When you talk with Ebay, you need to get the Ticket Number on this. If you notice on the Tech Board there is a list of tickets being worked on. It should appear there too. If it doesn't, post that on the Tech board.
Sometimes issues take a bit of time to track down and figure out. It is a big site with complex coding.

I do have a ticket number. I don't see where to search for my ticket number on the technical board though. Can you send a link where to search for it? My ticket number is: 119613. I don't see any posts related to my issue on there, besides my own post. thank you

Well it isn't where it is suppose to be. I'll get back to you as soon as I find out what is going on.

They significantly were able to get most items fixed. Keep in mind the list is for things that affect multiple people, not those that are more centralized on a member or two.
