Would be a good idea NOT TO USE local pickup as an option until eBay can get this problem resolved.
Many posts here lately about it, please consider this a fair warning .
I have lost 4, going on 5 days, of a view-able listing now due to having the Local Pickup option ....listing can't be found via search whatsoever .
Since the listing had 7 bids ( 2 w/in 2 hours of the listing ) I cannot get rid of that option now and ebay said they could not do it for me either, never again !

Bumping to top so at least anyone who reads the boards may be spared the pain of losing money due
to yet another ebay glitch !!!

Hi guys can these poor people get any ebay help?
Listing with bids that are not searchable & seems to be a glitch & ebay can't help them so they lose bids & money?
OP is affected ,list has bids so can't remove local pick up. there is another poster in one of the threads that has bids as well .
Many others are lucky & have been able to get it changed & the listings are now viewable
This poster came to the boards was able to be advised remove local pick up, did it & their listing now shows

Hi all - This was brought to our attention and we have filed a report for our tech team to review. I don't have any timelines available at the moment but please be on the lookout for updates. I'll keep you posted once I know more and apologies for any frustration!

Highly suspect intentional until programmers close loopholes. Bandaid much better term than "glitch".

oh my flippin' gawd. 2 hours on the phone with ebay over 3 weeks and countless sales lost and fizzled auctions because nobody at support could figure out why I had totally invisible listings and this simple solution finally solved it. I had items relisted 3 times trying to fix the issue and thought I was losing my mind. How can no one at ebay know whats going on with the site????

not sure why you had some pretty good sales during the time, EG:

mine (and several other sellers) listings tanked while you had bids with the local option pickup , go figure ?
hit and miss problem I suppose...very disconcerting.

Not seeing many new posts here about folks searches not showing up in last day or two, hopefully it's been resolved !

Problem is not many sellers use the boards & many may not even know their listings aren't showing
As of yesterday 5/3 someone on tech board just revised theirs to get it to show !
so as of yesterday this sellers listing was not shown .
They have this glitch yet they are testing a new search as per weekly chat yesterday
Why not fix what you have first
I can only SMH at this company
How much money did you lose on your auction due to them not being able to help you!

Once I removed local pick up, my listing is now showing.
Hope Ebay see's this info you gave.
Local Pick up is still necessary for people to use
and Ebay should fix that problem for everyone who lists

ok, thanks labs and donut ! Have not been checking the tech. board but just found that post there .
Trying to keep abreast and hoping for the best soon per the situation but n/t to check these boards out as often as I'd like too.

It is possible that the problem involving the Local Pickup option has been fixed. I tested it myself, just now, and it was successful.
If the error has been fixed, I am interested to receive a confirmative response from eBay.
My interest can be summarized in a couple of words: accountability and trust.
I am a long-time member who has benefitted from the service eBay provides. Likewise, eBay has benefitted from my participation. I play by their rules; they provide a service as advertised. This makes for a happy relationship. I've only had a couple of incidents over the years, but in the end, they was investigated and made right.
Mistakes happen. And I will continue to have faith that they will be dealt with professionally - until I am shown otherwise.
I humbly await a communication from eBay.
