Thought I'd pop in and ask here - I'm selling several area rugs, and I'd like to have them be 'fixed price' with a best offer option - however, these listings are evidently ineligible for this option.
I'd love to know why that is, and what settings I can adjust to make them eligible.
Thanks!

I'm seeing several posts like these here lately. Some can't enter best offer, some cannot use the buy it now option. I think the toggle may be confusing, especially for new sellers. Just my outlook!

Why do you say they are ineligible for the make an offer option? Are you getting some sort of message?
When I click on one of your listings and 'sell one like this' I do have the option of turning on the best offer option. I see it on both the simple listing form and the advanced form. Do you not see the option?

As an example, when I attempt to take the 'Add Best Offer' action from my Seller Hub and apply it to my non-Auction listings, it gives the following message:
"Listings not eligible for Best Offer

Just for giggles, try what @pjcdn2005 recommends on one of the listings you'd like to add it to, then End the original listing if it works for you.

That did actually work - it seems that any listing with variations was ineligible, but if I list each variation separately, I can enable best offers.
Very strange.
