Listing on US website by non-US seller

Hi outside, hope you all are well.

I am not a frequent lister and have come back after some time - previously I would list my items by setting them up on the US website - there was space for me to list my shipping costs and in general it was always clear that I would be shipping from Spain.

Now I find that it is impossible to "circumvent" the US shipping categories and my draft ad comes up with me somewhere in South Carolina (probably where my Spanish zip code coincides with the US one).

When I start my listing from the Spanish site I will only be listed in Spain and I am not interested in that.

Can anybody help - I want to list my items on the US site and not on the Spanish site. Thanks in advance.

Sounds like you want to drop ship.  Risky business platform.  Many don't succeed.

Good luck.

Why don't you just list on the Spanish and sell internationally?

Hi, i found a link for international  sellers who want to list on eBay.com. If you haven’t seen it before, hope it will be helpful.

Just curious, when listing from Spain, once international shipping is chosen, your listings are supposed to be shown globally. Is that not happening for you?

Re: Listing on US website by non-US seller

I noticed that when I first started to list on the new form, the .com listing form would show that I was in Alberta, United States rather than in Alberta, Canada.   My listings have always stated that I was in Canada so I'm not sure how that happened but I simple changed the country.  If it also says United States for you, then click on edit next to 'preferences' on the listing form and change the country.  If filling out the 'zip code' gives you the problem, then it is possible to leave it blank.  But I don't think that you should give you a problem if the country is filled out.

When you fill out the domestic shipping form on .com, that will be for shipping to the US regardless of where you are located. You will need to use a flat rate and choose a service such as 'economy or standard shipping from outside of the US'.

The international portion of the shipping is used for shipping every where else.  You can set it up so that you can a price for different areas. The limit is 3 or 4 different service under international.

If you are listing on an international site, there is no guarantee that your listings will be seen on all sites even if you do ship to that country.
