Listing multiple items

Hello

Does anybody have any suggestions? I have hundreds of baseball hats to sell. They are not only sports teams. Is there any way I could list maybe 10 hats at a time, to sell individually? They would each be the same price. Thanks in advance

Re: Listing multiple items

You could use the Variations option, if the category supports it.  If it does, select the same type of hat (such as a football sports team) and you could have them all in 1 listing, and the buyer selects the ones s/he wants.

Re: Listing multiple items

As Disney said you can use a variation listing for similar hats but - most would only do that if they were New merchandise. If you're selling hats that may have been used, have no tags and the conditions of each are different - you'll need to list them separately. Buyers are very picky and if you advertise New they want new with either the price tag or sticker verifying it is indeed unworn.

Thank you both!  They are pre owned and are listed as pre owned. I sell them separately now but I have so many I'll never get them al listed any time soon., and we get more every day.  Sometimes I'll make a bulk listing if they are hanging around too long.

Re: Listing multiple items

Since you cannot use variation listings since they are not new, perhaps you might want to list some as lots?  The number in each lot is up to you.  Two, three, whatever you want.

Just a thought.

Thank you, I tried that before, maybe I'll give it another shot.

You're welcome!  Oh, I didn't know you had tried that before, but hopefully if you try it again, it will work better for you.  You could list as many as you wanted in a lot.  Some have success listing in lots and moving things, some may not.

You have a lot of Philly team hats -those would be good in a few lots.

It sounds like you have two problems. One is more new inventory than you can keep up with, the other is items hanging around too long.

As you get new inventory every day pull out the hats that will go for more money and list them separately. The $5-10 hats you could pair up or lot together. That will help you manage new inventory and listings.

Make use of your store promotions with a Buy 1 Get 1 promo or a markdown -that can help with the items that sit for too long.

Good night and good luck

Re: Listing multiple items

What is listed is only a fraction, I must have at least 600 more packed in my closets. My husband finds them every day we just can't pass them  up. I guess We won't run out any time soon.  : ) I was thinking of doing a Phillies bundle listing.
