Listing Views

Hello, My account traffic has dropped significantly after my time away. My new listings do not receive even a single view. Therefore I am in a big trouble. If you can help me I am very thankful. Can you explain what is the reason for that?

Lots of reasons, so I will pick the one I like.  Kids are getting out of school, graduation, and parties...and most parents are busy spending in that area, or summer camp and childcare.

@dm_toy_store

Dropshipping junk from China could be part of the problem.

You can pick that stuff up at any dollar store.

Have a great day.

eBay has changed the way page views are calculated. They have removed machine or bot visits to listings to give s more accurate count. See the policy below for more information.

Wait til they ding everyone 4% penalty when our viewing goes down. They have to find a way to increase our fees.

Sales drop and view drops was some sort of update that went rogue.  Don't give me the economy bull.  It was a one day drop that removed most if not all my items from google search results.  I'm just starting to see some fresh customer after I started promoting my listings elsewhere, driving traffic here.  Seems those bots were actually buyers.  Give a mean tweet and some bot views please.

Don't listen to those trying to cover for ebay.  Ebay is in the views extortion business now.  Ebay want sellers to pay to promote items, and if you don't pay you don't get views. I had 10  people I know  view a item in my listings. My listing still said no views. I prove this twice to ebay, and ebay told me knowing was wrong, than tried to sell me to pay for views.  I was a top rated seller, and soon as ebay put in place their new view system, in the past month I have sold only two items.  I am not making any money on ebay. This is what those who run ebay said they was going to do, is focus on sellers paying to promote items on ebay.  In the years selling on ebay, this is the worst ebay has done to sellers.  I also tested one listing on payed promotions, that had no views. A month later that listing still has no views.  You will make more money selling you items on other sites. If you have "JUNK" broken, repair, not working items, it is best to put those items in ebay not caring if the item get no views, or don't care if the item sells or not. Selling your items on other sites, will be much better in sells, and you will be more happier. Use ebay as nothing but a back up, not your main selling platform.  Ebay is falling, if seller not making money, big and small ebay is not making money. For ebay to make there top investors happy, ebay start extorting their sellers. The direction ebay is going, it's going to get worst. WAIT FOR IT!

Ebay saying everything is bots is misleading. If their are links on a website that link directly to your item, and when a person click on that link to view your item; ebay going to block the "VIEW" saying it's a bot, when it's a live person. I called ebay, asking about this, and ebay confirmed that what they are doing. Ebay trying to force sellers to pay for views.  Ebay has been saying what they was going to do is to get into the sellers extortion business.  It is better to sell items on other sites, you will be much happier. Use ebay as just a back up, sell your junk, broken, as is repair stuff on ebay. In that way, you won't care if the item get views, or sells or not. YOU WILL BE MUCH MUCH MUCH HAPPIER!!!!!!
