Has anyone noticed anything strange with your listing views?
I have some listings that have 0 views but have watchers. Other listings with 1-2 views and watchers.
None of this seems accurate, and I'm beginning to wonder if any of the stats for all my listings are incorrect.

Lol. I reached out to them, they took 10 min. Said they refreshed my account and the listing I was looking at went from 0 to 8 views. Not sure what occurred.

On previous listings I used 10-15%. But I'm just experimenting. No idea where I should be at.

@suitmandansellsny I dont worry about "views" or "watchers" - The only thing that counts is Buyers.

What occurred is that you started this thread, over 100 people looked at the thread, a bunch clicked the View Listings link and some of those actually clicked on one of your listings.

That's hilarious because that's definitely exactly what happened.

Yup, there really is no "refresh", though they like to tout this all the time. Oftentimes what is referred to as a "refresh" is just a re-indexing of your listings, which you can easily do yourself by bulk editing something, such as handling time or putting yourself on Time Away & back off of it. But that isn't what updated your watchers.
Your views were correct to begin with & I'm in clothing & can sometimes take 3 days to get a view with over a thousand listings. You'll find your sweet spot with promoting, but the bottom line is you'll need way more than 10 listings if you want to have success here. Best of luck to you.

Definitely I agree for sure.
I'm waiting for some inventory. Just trying to learn the platform as I go.
Still unsure of what category I want to specialize in.

The view count is broken and there has been ongoing issues with it ever since they introduced the update to stop bot traffic.
I have created loads of new listings this week. I had many with 0 views and multiple watchers. There is always the argument that buyers click the heart button to watch without clicking the listing to open it. The thing is, my views have been way down on items that have a medium to high demand.
I called eBay today and gave a couple of examples of listing with low views, I have them examples of items that only had 1 view. These kind of items used to do well for me and create high traffic in the first week of being listed. EBay checked the items on their end and most of them were showing as having over 10 views.
So the view counter is not picking up that items are getting views on the sellers end. This has a very negative effect on the algorithm, decreasing impressions and page views, pushing other listings down to page 20-30 where buyers are not searching.
If you suspect this is happening to your account, please contact eBay and give them item numbers. Cross check to see if the number of views showing up on your side is the same as what is showing on their end. If enough people report this issue, hopefully they will resolve it.
message to eBay, this is ridiculous, please fix asap.
