I am trying to use the bulk listing tool to do a bulk listing lot. I did one and it gives me the error code: getfiledetails. Any suggestions on how to remedy this? Thank you.

I've never seen that code. Try doing less listings at a time. Try doing 200 at a time and see if that helps.

Hello,
I am having the same or similar problem to the OP.
I have read and followed to the best of my ability every suggestion offered in this post and I have done a fair bit of experimentation on my own. So here is a summary of what I have done and the issue that is reoccurring.
I downloaded a category specific template and began to fill it in. I did all the research and downloaded all the pdf's for the user manuals. It took me a hot minute but I finally got to a point where I felt I was ready to upload my first excel file.
The file did not upload and I received a report. I had used 'automotive' for my store category instead of the numeric value. I correct this issue and reuploaded the file. The upload failed again and so I clicked the link for the report and the only thing I got was a file called getfiledetails. I clicked that file and nothing happened. So I attempted to upload again and I got getfiledetails(1) and this file provided nothing either.
I then searched this forum and found this thread and the first thing I did was change the file from an .csv to an xls. I then uploaded the file again and it failed, but this time I was able to download a report and learned that I had inadvertently put the lengthy item description under the item title and it informed that the title had a limited number of characters allowed.
I then corrected this issue and tried to upload again. And to my chagrin I received getfiledetails(2) and again this file did nothing.
At this point I started to do some research. I changed the name of the file that I was uploading and I changed back to an .xls file. I tried multiple different combinations of this remedy and I keep getting getfiledetails(3) thru getfiledetails(7) at which point I feel that I have exhausted my knowledge and my problem solving skills.
Any help would be appreciated.
FYI - This test file has only one item in it. And I have successfully uploaded this file yesterday, several times as I worked to sort out how to format the information I wanted to add to the Description cell. Then yesterday all of a sudden I started getting this same getfiledetails issue and I just ran out of patience and started fresh again today.
Please help. I have hundreds of similar parts that are already in templates ready to be uploaded once I sort out the issues.
Thank you.
